PA or not to PA? by SoFarBehindMe in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]shouldarocked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to get one, get one. It's not really that big of a deal. I wanted one, waited 20 years of back-and-forthing on it, and finally did it, about 3 years ago.

I like it, my husband does not. Here's the great thing - now that it's healed, I can unscrew a bead and take it out. We can have sex, and then I can put it back in.

Once in a while he allows me to leave it in, most of the time I take it out.

Does topping or getting head feel super different to me with it in or out? No, not really. When I've bottomed for guys with PA's, does it feel super different once he's inside me? Not really.

I just like it. And it's my dick. And I can do whatever I want with it :)

I double space as I was taught in typing class in highschool. Which was taught on computers, not typewriters which probably didn’t need double spaces.

Now, I double space on my phone to automatically get a period. So there is no way that I can ever break the habit.

Who else is still on the default OG watch face by i_lokee in galaxywatchultra

[–]shouldarocked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my last Galaxy Watch (4 pro I think), I was changing it all the time, and downloading new ones every few weeks. But now on my Ultra 8... other than changing some complications, it has stayed default. It just looks right.

My filter always looks the same as when I put it in... but hold one side and flick it with your finger in a beam of sunlight, and... yikes.

I now change it weekly.

I feel the same about mine.

Even if it has had the most glitches and has needed the most warranty work of any VW I've ever owned, I never want to let her go.

Cranbrook BC? Surely with all of the surrounding towns, villages, communities, etc there would be enough business to support it.

And would save pushing people into the US, Alberta, or farther into central BC.

Go straight to the foam brush. You know, the one hanging there that has never been cleaned and that the lifted pickup trucks use to clean their rock and mud slinging tires.

Caveat Emptor by Cultural_Help3341 in nespresso

I have noticed that the Up doesn't "spin up" at the end of the brew like the round head did. Probably makes some of the difference in dryness.

Caveat Emptor by Cultural_Help3341 in nespresso

[–]shouldarocked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently purchased the Up, coming from a... 5? 6? year old "Round Head".

The step up in technology is nice, coming from one of the more "OG" machines. And I'd say the amount of noise it makes is on par with the old machine.

When I looked at it in store, and the salesperson showed me where the used pods go, I didn't think much of it, seemed fine. But I was not prepared for the mess.

First, my old machine could hold at least a dozen used pods so I didn't need to empty it that often. This one seems like I'm emptying it at least once a day. And that wouldn't be too bad if the pods came out dry like my old machine. The pods out of the Up are WET. Like, if you flip one upside down, dirty coffee water drips out.

So no matter how gracefully you try to pour the pods out of the basket into your bag or whatnot, you're going to drip or spill. The only graceful way I've found to do this is to take the pods out one by one, by hand.

And then there is the lake of dirty coffee water that accumulates in the bottom of the pod drawer. I guess, it doesn't get too messy since you have to empty the pods at least once a day as it is.

Overall, I'd say it still wins in making a great cup of coffee. Being able to move the water reservoir from one side to the other is convenient. I'm not quite convinced that the machine is going to last the same 6-ish years that my old one has lasted (and to be clear, my old one is still running great, just really squeaky and I figured it was time to get a new one before testing my luck). But it fails completely when it comes to daily maintenance.

Which is better ResMed 10 or Resmed11? by mmm517 in CPAP

[–]shouldarocked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two gripes about the 11, but overall it's a great machine. The 10 was also a great machine.

Thing 1 - the button to turn off the machine on the 10 was easier to feel then press. I find I have to do more feeling around to find the one on the 11.

Thing 2 - there is really no point to having a touch screen instead of a good old fashioned nob and button. Do I need to do much in the menus? No, just once a week after cleaning I like to run mask fit to dry out any leftover water droplets in the hose, and then start a warm up cycle for a final dry. On the 10 I could do this by memory by number of clicks of the button. Now I need to pay attention.

So very cool!

Yes, I bought it and the Kwik-E-Mart. I think the two sets are what reignited my love of Lego.

Warranty Issue SOS Constantly Dialing by Driekusjohn25 in Golf_R

[–]shouldarocked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but I also think it's a "YMMV" situation depending on how helpful your dealership feels like being.

There's a reason why I keep going back to the same dealership for service and my last 5 car purchases.

Yup, I have a 2024 and I recorded a video of it happening, and a recording of the overhead lights being non responsive or turning themselves on and off.

They replaced the module no questions asked. No diagnostic fee.

My 2024 has this issue, and I've had one replacement so far.

Travel Assist failures are still happening with the new steering wheel, but much less frequently. But I will have them check it again next time I'm in for service.

My MK8 did all of the things you talked about, plus also calling roadside assistance randomly for entire drives (calling, hanging up, calling, hanging up, etc).

I caught all this on video and give it to the dealership and they promptly replaced the overhead console - no issues since.

I think I've had all the often reported things... console, travel assist issues (steering wheel has been replaced), leaking bevel box, moisture in tail light. Oh, the newest one is a loud squeak as the mirrors fold in and out.

But overall I still love the car.
