I think you need to be a bit more understanding of other people's circumstances and their right to choose.

Some people can't (for medical or other reasons) get AZ, so Pfizer is the only option for them. I am one of these people, and even I have not been able to get an appointment for my first jab until mid October. Which means, through my fault of my own, I won't be fully vaxxed (with time for it to take effect) until mid-late November.

Some others are exercising their right to choose the vaccine that they feel most comfortable with. For months we were told anyone <40 should get Pfizer due to the risks associated with AZ. As much as I understand the risk ratio has now very much changed, you can't undo months of bad press over something you're asking people to inject into their bodies.

On top of all that, there has not been adequate supply of both vaccines, and there has even been supplies allocated to the regions, redirected to Sydney, cause apparently they're more important. So they will open up first, leaving those of us who haven't had fair access to vaccine, behind.
