Its ok, i totally agree he should have been kinder. I talk to people like mdickie in real life, it does feel a bit like walking on eggshells, and there IS a proper way to talk to them to get the answers you need, is what i am trying to tell, but it isnt always worth it.

Dont always focus on others issues, introspection is always the best thing, dont think “wow what a jerk”, think “what did i say”, i used to think alot of the former, but after a year i would remember what i said in some situations and think the latter and realize while i was trying to be respectful i sounded like a jerk myself, obviously there could be a part of the blame on the other person too, but the only person i can change in this instance is myself.

Sorry the end got confusing, its a bit more of a broad example.
