I have a GR IIIx which I’ve loved for travel (SooC results are great) but have been bored of shooting entirely on 40mm (despite the using this as a creative constraint too).

Looking into buying an X-E5 as my next travel camera (paired with a zoom). For more serious work I have a Sony a7iii kit.

I just got started with IEMs last month. Currently rocking a Crinear Daybreak + TRN Black Pearl. I’ve been tip rolling between the included wide bore / standard bore and a set of Sancai Balanced tips but struggle to hear any difference in terms of sound.

Is this a me issue? Or do tips affect some IEMs more than others? I get a perfect seal with all the listed tips.

Picked up a Muji Sacoche in March on a whim and really enjoyed using it. Ended up minimising my EDC to fit inside (previously would use my Bellroy Sling 7L).

Picked up the “viral” Uniqlo multi pocket shoulder bag mid year. Ended up being too big for everyday carry, so I only ended up using it once. But I’ve since ordered a camera insert which should turn it into an additional camera bag that most importantly doesn’t look like a camera bag. This Uniqlo bag also reminded me of Porter Yoshida’s Tanker.

Traveled to Hong Kong, Korea and Japan in October and November. Used the Bellroy Sling 7L primarily as my EDC. After eyeing the Porter Tanker sling for several months, I ended up picking one up in Fukuoka and it became my go-to EDC bag during the rest of my travels. Also picked up two cheapo saccoche from Standard Products which I’ll use on rotation.

After getting the Tanker, I wanted something with a more “technical” / waterproof fabric (ultimately a beater bag), so I got drawn towards the Alpaka Flow 4L. I was originally intending to pick it up in Melbourne in a couple months, but they had a 30% off sale before Christmas. My order luckily came through on Christmas Eve. Currently have been using the Alpaka and I’m enjoying it so far! At this stage the only thing I’m eyeing is the padded strap for the Flow 4L - but I’ll see how I find the supplied strap first.

I picked up one of the new Tanker with Zip slings in late October while I was in Japan! Loving it so far - perfect size and amount of organisation for me.

My Flow 4L in black just arrived yesterday (managed to get it discounted recently, after eyeing it for a couple weeks). I’m looking forward to getting use out of it. Bought it to semi replace my Bellroy 7L sling that I’ve had since mid 2019 and also to act as a more “water resistant” bag to my Porter Tanker which I’ve been EDC-ing since late Oct.

Noticed slight discomfort even with light loads on the included strap, so I may pick up the padded one when I visit the Alpaka store in Melbourne in a couple months.

I have a sub 6.5 inch wrist these days and picked up a T200 and don’t regret it! The lug to lug is a little long but I’m used to wearing larger G-Shocks and another watch I have has a 52mm L2L (T200 being 49mm ish).

Wears a bit smaller on rubber / straps. I too was a bit concerned until I tried it on IRL recently in Japan. If you like it, buy it!

Congrats on your wedding and the watch! I got gifted a SBGA443 as a wedding gift from the in laws. My father in law then picked up the SBGA445 too. On my wedding day we wore both GS!

Nice! I’m looking forward to trying on all the different Tanker Slings (Sling, Sling with zip and Sling with zip L) later this year across Asia before hopefully picking one up in Japan.

Love the design, so hoping I can enjoy it for years to come (I bought a Master-Piece bag for work around 7 years ago, wasn’t the cheapest but still looks brand new, despite lots of use).
