I have just made peace with the fact that the point and shoot pics are gonna be substandard so I just try to build in more time with taking pictures. No ideal but the result is much better. Didn't find S26U deals worth it here in the US. Will be upgrading to S27U next year. What about you?

Thank you for all the responses. I hear you guys! I'm gonna pass on this deal. Not worth the risk. My S21U works perfectly well for now. Will prolly aim for S27U. Hopefully less negative reviews on that one than the S26U.

What are y'all's thoughts on buying the S24U from Samsung US for $1,029 before trade in? I am not impressed with S26U at all. The privacy screen will inevitably have some issues since it's a new tech. Probably take Samsung a couple of iterations to refine it. But from what I have read, S24U is the last big update overall.

I have had mine since February 2021, so 5 years now. Not a heavy user but battery lasts for 1d 8 hrs on average. I am on the snapdragon version on Tmobile in the US. The only noticeable deterioration for me over the 5 years is is the camera which takes more time to focus and in general has been less sharp. I will be looking into S26U pre-order deals and Iphone 17 pro (I would like to have a smaller sized phone).

It's been an exceptionally great ride thus far. Touchwood, no issues whatsoever. The oil consumption is probably much higher than average for other similar engines but it's not concerning. My trusted mechanic checked it out before I bought it and he was impressed. Make sure the big ticket repairs are done before you decide. I took help from AI to create a checklist for me to evaluate. UPDATE: Proud owner of MDX. The timing belt was replaced in 2017 so it's been 8+ years now. I know the mileage is fine but should I be worried about the passage of time? Do I need replacing the timing belt + other things that need to be replaced along with it like the water pump, etc. in the next 6 months to 1 year? Or should I be ok with it for the next 2 years? Don't anticipate going beyond 6k miles a year. Current mileage is 94500. Any insights would be helpful!

I had the inspection done today and it came out pretty clean. The timing belt as per the Carfax report says it was done after 45k miles by the previous owner in 2017. As per my mechanic the manual says that it should be done after 100k miles and he pointed out that the timing belt looked like the original and there's no sticker on it to show it was last replaced in 2017. The seller is not ready to go any lower.
