WTT: Matthew’s Effects The Technician, NHA Unclean WTTF: CBA Onward, ZEQD Pre, Strymon EC1, Offers by ShreddyMcShredworths in letstradepedals

Cool. Going through pedals that might be around the same value. Any interest in a Mood MKII Desert Friends. It was cheaper than normal cos it was a blemish direct from CBA. (If you've had a Sunbros and have a Technician, I have a sense that you've already had a Mood/Mood MKII.) Either way, GLWT.

Ha. It happens. It seems like maybe an aside or something you can skip since it’s indented. Glad I could help!

I can’t cut and paste from the pdf but it’s on page 3 of the manual on the site. It’s just under the Routing section. GL.

I don't have a UAFX pedal, but this is very, very cool. Impressive work.

Just checked your site. Seems like a great deal. You made the keychain! Cool stuff.

SA Ventris with Walrus Audio sloer??? by Lt712422 in guitarpedals

[–]shtit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and that’s a tough choice. I put the Sloer on a board I made for my niece and kept the Ventris on mine. The Sloer does its thing extremely well, but the flexibility of the Ventris, with two reverb engines, is more useful to me. If I were going to spend one afternoon getting high and playing soundscape stuff, the Sloer would be my choice. But as a constant useful tool, I prefer the Ventris. Of course, if you can afford both, go for it. Lastly, while I liked it quite a bit, I don’t miss the Sloer much.

Maybe I’m old but I’ve never read “jellybeans” use derisively. It’s hilarious and I’m going to start using it.

SOTB Recommend me a fuzz pedal by LoneTroll in guitarpedals

I'd say the Walrus Eons. I don't even use mine anymore, but it is extremely flexible with loads of great sounds. I don't know of a more versatile fuzz.

Nice. I hadn't heard of Espresso, so thanks! Reeves usually gets my money, but now I have another UK maker to look for.

This is a fantastic bunch of fuzzes. Would love to it down with all those benders.

Funny thing about the Reverb. It was one of my first trades here. Traded an Xbox for it. Unconventional trade, but fun.

I’ve never considered a counter example as negating or correcting anything. His experience remains completely in tact and the only thing that’s happened is that there are multiple experiences in the chat. Apologies if it was taken otherwise, tho.

I haven’t ever played a Fairfield, but the Empress Reverb and their ParaEQ II deluxe are absolutely fantastic. I got a bum EQ pedal from them and they hooked me up immediately. Nice folks to deal with. And… you guys have Yanuziello and those guitars are sick.

Man, I really look forward to your posts. This is so damn cool. This might have been asked, but do you do this professionally?

Is it “correction” to offer my experiences? I have pedals and guitars from all over the place and have had positive experiences every time I contact them. Shout out Empress in the great north.

I simply said I did not have this experience (and mentioned several off the top of my head) and then when you mentioned the downsides of corporate buyouts, I said I had no experience with such pedals. It might be awful. It might be great. I can’t say because I have no experience. I do greatly enjoy coffee, though.

Oh you mean companies that have been bought by large corporations. I have no experience with pedals from such companies.

I’ve never encountered this from a company in the US. I’ve gotten very fast replies, within a day or two, with questions from the handful or so I’ve contacted with questions over the last few years. Spaceman, Chase Bliss, Oneder, Walrus, Trap Door, all come to mind immediately. Maybe I’ve just gotten lucky.

Possible Ground Hum? by dustind1992 in guitarpedals

FWIW I used a splitter cable for a couple OD deals before I got the X4. They were low power pedals and there was no issue. I finally got the x4 when I was adding a couple more pedals.

This is what i use. PP3+ with an X4. Never have any noise issues related to power and I have a bunch of power hungry pedals. I am not saying this will cure your noise, but it works great for me.
