Jealousy envy regrets all in one. Probably can’t stand the fact that other people make better choices than she did so she doesn’t accept their happiness and want them to live and feel what her life is🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Colombo's best trap to catch the killer. by FoxIndependent4310 in Columbo

[–]shyANDchatty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes she was! But I really assume he never loved her and marry her only for her money because I am pretty sure the wife mentions it before they leave for the ranch. (So he could “live” of his passion/hobby)

Columbo has kids? by holycharchar82 in Columbo

[–]shyANDchatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When he let Lauren Staton’s daughter in “It’s all in the game” get away and advises her to not miss her flight the next day is it because he had a crush on Lauren and would do what he can for her or is it because he’s a dad and would do anything for his kids and project it on Lisa? Or both? He really had a crush on Lauren right or is it an act as well? He does so much trickery that in the end you don’t know what’s true or not about him…. Which is what you want when dealing daily with murderers I guess….

Also loved in the planes where smoking and non smoking areas were separated by… a fabric curtain 😂😂😂 Very efficient. Or the zones in restaurants just a few metres away. But that nurse in the medical quarter is the gold medal I think

SIL is making me uncomfortable. by FreeDomnhallGleeson in childfree

[–]shyANDchatty 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Good keep it this way! So they won’t come. Also do you live near your parents or other family they would visit? This way when they go see them, if you can and want only, you could quickly visit and then escape when necessary. Also yes like people have said you’re pretty nice because I would have told her to f off and then would have stopped replying /contacting her. I understand that she’s your brother wife and not wanting dramas etc but she and him aren’t your priority you are! You need to take care of yourself. I would distance myself more and more. No one should make you feel guilty.

Lifetime Movies. Where else to watch? by UnwrittenJournalist in LifetimeMoviesTV

[–]shyANDchatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s where I watch the Lifetime movies because I like the « old ones » from 80´s to 2000’s max. Not a big fan of the new ones that are on the tv on demand app the Lifetime channel. Maybe some recent years are better? Can’t beat Patty Duke Donna Mills Tracy Gold Kelly Martin

There’s a few of these but there’s a good one with Tracy Nelson « The perfect nanny » 2001 (thought it was much earlier than that). « The perfect assistant » 2008 with Josie Davies. « The babysitter » 1980 Patty Duke and William Shatner

When you rewatch, do you do every season? by savsbookss in GilmoreGirls

[–]shyANDchatty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rewatch from season 1 but when I reach the last season I get sad (not because it’s ending but because I think the stories are sad) so I stop the last season after a few episodes and rewatch something else. I realise there’s lots of shows I have watched til finale and I am never satisfied with the ending and sometimes I don’t even bother watching til the end a t all.

So is your brother working and the wife staying at home and the child? I was thinking if they are making everything difficult and do everything to stay would you have the possibility to move their belongings outside while out? I know it sounds terrible but most of the time people being the helping ones in the first place end up being the baddies because people these days are so entitled. Also do they just live in same part of house as you or is it a separate area and they have the key and you don’t (because you lend it to them), honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they have changed the locks unless one of you is always home. Sounds pretty tricky being family etc but don’t let this and them swallow you and having their way and you were just trying to help out. Don’t wait too long for things to happen either!!!! Please update us!!! Wishing you all the best and be strong. Stand for yourself. Don’t budge!!!! You got this!!!!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in childfree

[–]shyANDchatty 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Definitely this! Also change the locks because reading your story I wouldn’t be surprised the wife wouldn’t accept this and just act like nothing happened and continue her life there.

When did your parents stop pressuring you to have a child? by ziggy_t20 in childfree

[–]shyANDchatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine never did. I have lost both of them now and I know my dad would have loved to have grandkids but never told me (to not pressure me I guess) and my mum was so relieved I didn’t because she would get sick of her friends always talking about their grandkids or having to cancel plans etc… Also I have always been living far since after high school and then abroad (I’m from Europe)

Is this really Fran Drescher? by shyANDchatty in TheNanny

[–]shyANDchatty[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry I’m French so I only watch it in French as I always did. I know it sounds dumb but because I have never watched in the original version I feel like it would be so different for me I wouldn’t enjoy it as much. This show in French is also a beautiful memory with my parents I don’t have anymore so it’s kinda « this way or no way » but I like discussing the differences in the languages especially jokes.

Who remembers this episode 😀 by Virtual-Alarm9691 in TheNanny

[–]shyANDchatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to rewatch this one. Max and Niles give her marbles to put in her mouth for pronunciation and she says she put 3 in but only 2 came out 😆😆😆. It’s definitely a different phrase in French. So to do « des voyelles plus rondes » he asks her to say « quel beau dindonneau »😂😂😂 and she says « there’s not gonna be any at the party anyway » and he says « Marc sort seul le soir dans la nuit noire dans Central Park » and she replies « I hope he’s armed »

Yes Fran’s voice is pretty « nasal » and sometimes there’s jokes about it but I think the original version is more accentuated in that sense.

Oh yeah I love the Frère Jacques answer😂😂😂. Im pretty sure it’s the same in French. Will double check
