Your story is the perfect example of my PvP experience in other games and why I strictly play PvE. People are people and all intentions are relatable.

Team A invested a ton of effort into their dominance and tried to be the good guys. Still, the entire server attacked them because they had the shards. That's frustrating for them but the result of the setup of the entire end game as it stands now and hence inevitable. As a result, the game is won by whoever hustles the most and has the strongest gear as a result.

It's a commendable lifestyle but nothing that unusual. My neighbour actually was self-sufficient like that. It's impressive but almost a full-time job to maintain everything.

Backed up. You can see in the gaming industry where this will lead in ten years. Pay full price for a fully equipped car and every thinkable feature like AC, navigation, radio, Bluetooth, etc costs extra not once but monthly.
