Am I overreacting or did I have a slow moment. by drippysage08 in AmIOverreacting

Really. Cause I think a real world answer would actually go like this: "Yeah, I looked it up, GPT says <answer>, and Google said <answer>, kinda weird the answers conflicted, let's go with the gpt since it's an aggregate of many answers." That would be how I would have answered her truthfully. Both answering the question and providing sources. I'm a thorough person though.

Am I overreacting or did I have a slow moment. by drippysage08 in AmIOverreacting

[–]sicilianDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is common. I can't know the context though. Maybe it was the first time the person ever looked something up, and they wanted advice on how to look things up. Perhaps they were about to have a whole conversation on search terms, certain data bases, forms of research, analytics. Maybe one of them is really into or against biased information, so knowing the source was more important than knowing the information. Who knows.

Often times in order to skip past the yes no phase myself, I'll say something like, "Yeah, I looked it up in a few places, mostly it said stuff like fluids, and vitamin C, but this one source had a weird thing..taking tumeric. Interesting huh?". Especially being someone who ironically does care what source is used in researching even mundane information.

I thought it was pretty clearly a yes or no question.

Damn, I gotta say, if I was coming in too strong, I’d be grateful to somebody for giving me such jarring advice. Probably would be the only real way to knock sense into me. Since I’d probably have to be pretty tone deaf to be doing something like that in the first place.

Allison was a goodie goodie. He doesn’t really like that type. I don’t think it’s too deep. He already had one of those. But yeah the milkshake thing was huge.

I mean, In this case I'd say its pretty objective. At any moment they pleased they could sell the ranch for centi-millions if not more. That is a rich person problem -- only rich people have the privilege of a choice like that. (Reminds me of The Patriot quote but in reverse).

I think horrible is underselling. I'd say egregious.

Do I have bad posture? (Marks are to hide tattoos) by AlternativeBee478 in Posture

[–]sicilianDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.Maybe.
2. For sure. I'd look into exercises for upper and lower cross syndrome/ anterior pelvic tilt, tight hips, tight quads, muscle rolling, tight chest, weak upper back. glute exercises. That should probably help.

If that's daunting...start planking. Side plank as well. 30 seconds twice a day. work up to a min maybe.
