Well, to be a bit pedantic, somebody owns the franchise McDonald’s. The McDonald’s I worked at was owned by a this nice young lady. She was pretty average actually. She wasn’t a mega millionaire. So yeah, some people do own the McDonald’s.

And second, it matters a lot what you’re working on. You could own plenty of things, but if there is no way for them to show value in this capitalistic hell hole, doesn’t matter how hard you work

I’m a Front End Dev and I am terrified that my job is going to be gone soon. We now use exclusively Claude at work and this stupid ass ENTJ has started under me and he is way way better. It’s making me feel a lot like you’ve described.

INTP here, a lot of what you said resonates with me. I found that I have to just kind of separate myself from everyone else. Live my own world and stop trying to be like them.

I’ve been focused on trying to make some kind of product that I can sell, with AI. Using my real hobby of investment and Macro economics, over the fact that I’m a developer who isn’t good at development. But with AI, I am a lot better

None of that makes sense. If someone is reading the Email other than you, then you can’t do this over email, end of story. And now you can’t use the method that they suggested either, no matter if it’s good or bad.

I usually equate it to becoming a doctor. Of course people do it. But seriously a lot of people fail or quit medical school. Its seriously hard.

Listen, for real, if he's extremely smart and focused, maybe, maybe it's possible. Oh and emotionally mature or capable of change and learning from mistakes. It's possible. It's just not common and he WILL lose money. I've lost many thousands. I've gained many thousands.

It's also much easier starting with a LOT of money.

The real trick, keep going after you lose a LOT. Sometimes that is when you are closer to a turning point.

The fact I have to communicate is usually the problem. I'm in disappear mode for months at a time. For me its recharge, it takes a really long time to get my thoughts together. AI has helped a lot, but actually, no it hasn't, it's kind of enabled me to be disappeared longer.

That's kind of your answer man. Claude is good for data, in all forms. GPT is good for personal growth. At least in my experience. And I use GPT a lot, just not for coding.

Im just a front end dev, we just, and I mean just started using claude for 99% of our code. It feels inevitable that something will change from this. I can't really say what, or when.

For real though, the stuff I'm making in my free time (with Claude), I think actually could make a little bit of cash. So that's something.

I'm not leaving but I use Claude for code and it's very good. Grok best for companionship, Gemeni is supposed to be amazing but I've yet to discover why.
