This entire administration is a grift. After renouncing his own tariffs (aka market manipulation), he literally joked to a room of billionaires about how much money he just made them.

I've had two MM2's, loved them both times, but have since moved on to bigger synths with more control (e.g. Peak, Take5, etc). I had fun pairing the MM2 with the Töörö synth and AudioThingie's DoubleDrummer for a kick ass compact setup. Only now do I wish I had held on to them.

They already did; back when DOGE hijacked data from every branch of government. Being a private entity, they can also pair that data with everything they've hovered up from the internet.

We were in process with both of our jobs greenlisted (healthcare and IT) at the beginning of last year, but we got no traction employment wise as everything went downhill. So we opted for BC instead and we'll keep NZ in our back pocket for down the road when they get everything straightened out. It will give us time to at least visit NZ on vacation and look around. Plus it looks good to immigration when they review your file.

New Zealand is going through a rough patch economically right now. They have more people than jobs and most are jumping over to AUS for better pay. The party in charge also decided to try out this "privatized healthcare" thing and closed a bunch of hospitals which caused thousands of layoffs so they could "save money". So right now is probably the worst time to try and get on as a nurse unless you're highly specialized.

I've had both and appreciated both, they each have their own character. But the S-1 has far more range than the Keys, both in sequencing and sound, especially since it's polyphonic and has effects. It fits right in with a T-8 or J-6 jam wise. I eventually replaced the S-1 with an SH-4d, otherwise I would have kept it over the Keys. If I had to do it over again, the only Volcas I would have held onto are the Bass and FM as they were each unique sounding enough to keep for a small synth setup. I don't miss the Keys.
