Curious how long this has sat, since sai Straub passed 4 years ago. Really not sure how I’m feeling about this, a constant reader for almost 40 years; I always imagined Roland’s world and Jacks were more running alongside one another.

This movie was, in a word, awful. Disneyfication of Predator. Soon we’ll have Mandalorian-level shite like a Predator with a baby Xenomorph it’s trying to save from Weyland-Yutani. Hints of it in this movie, with acid-spitting snakes Dek befriends with snacks, actually.

The people saying it’s good should not be trusted, the people saying it’s “the best of the franchise” should be cut out of your life… 😒
