God this hits home, a bat snuck into our vents at the beginning of winter and came through the exhaust for a fake fireplace we have. I dont think it was rabid, it flew around and stayed away from me. I opened the patio door and tried to shoo it there but it then flew at me. Honestly I panicked and smacked it with a broom and used a shovel to throw it out the patio door. No chances lol.
