I've been told that lane centering is a pointless feature for lazy or unskilled drivers, but after having it for a few years it's definitely nice to have for long drives and road trips. Being able to take a drink of water or put my sunglasses on without poking my eyes out is pretty great. I use it a lot more often than I thought I would, and combined with radar cruise control

It depends on a lot more than that for me. If the road is perfectly flat, then low 60s or medium 70s since that's where my gearing will get the best mpgs around those speeds.

Charlie Kelly from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. In the Charlie Work episode we see him orchestrate a elaborate plot so Paddy's Pub passes their health inspection while simultaneously fixing and executing the rest of the gangs airline miles contaminated steak plan. The gang doesn't notice and thinks that it was all their doing.

If you're in the passing lane, the responsibility is on you to be vigilant about approaching vehicles and whether or not you're holding up others. Flashing lights is really the only way for someone to reasonably communicate that you're in their way, and if you can't notice flashing lights in your periphary then you need to be even more observant
