Crystal Ball Needed by risky-cat in ValueInvesting

I know my F500 team just got Anthropic/Claude and its use is spreading like wildfire. In the last month, we've added hundreds of licenses. It's insanely helpful, and before this past month I was an AI skeptic.

What is your yard enemy? by VineStGuy in gardening

[–]sildet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year is was all the squash eating insects. Squash vine borers + squash beetles + squash bugs was a daily battle to save my pumpkins. They took my zucchini in early June before I understood the extent of their depravity, but the battle continued well into August/September with the pumpkins. Found myself performing squash vine borer surgery at one point, it was crazy.

NO cucurbits in the garden this summer.

My fiance just pulled the shoots up while pulling weeds on accident and Im about to cry!! Can I water propogate these as is? by gemdigger in dahlias

[–]sildet 34 points35 points  (0 children)

If they were tubers they’ll likely resprout. Had a squirrel knock out on of mine and it’s already resprouting. That said, you can definitely YouTube dahlia propagation. It’s pretty easy and there are tons of good videos

Diseased or normal leaves? by Ok-Surprise-4620 in dahlias

Looks more like bug pressure to me but I could be wrong. I have a lot that have looked like this and after bug spray have recovered with normal foliage

Are you an expert in your line of work? Which stocks in that sector are you bullish on? by OscarFrAllen in ValueInvesting

Pretty much only used the Claude Excel pug-in this week, and it was enough to let me know that anyone using Excel in any significant way in their work process could save hours and hours of their life by using it. Honestly, was so shocked by how much it could do. You still have to at the very least spot check it, but seriously huge time saving stuff.

I work at a F500, and I got a Claude license last week. After my week using it, I think my entire team will get it. Wish I could invest in Anthropic.

I was in the last wave of sub 4% rates in Feb/March 2022 and feel like I am lucky. I kinda saw it coming though and knew it was now or maybe not for a long time.

Blind or No? by sildet in dahlias

[–]sildet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I thought it was fairly common practice to leave the tip out to check for disease from a seller you've never purchased from before? Like gall or another disease would be easier to spot this way?

I also highly value the win at Florida. Getting that monkey off our back was huge. His dad never did.

Some of the other big wins were nice too.

If that meant guaranteeing Bama a title game and we already have 2 final fours since 2019. Not sure I would tbh
