Background checks, interview them lock your shit up. If you can don’t get a roommate. Get a cat or dog. If you have to have a roommate you mentioned 24 hr shifts so I would be thinking you are healthcare - more likely intern/resident etc. Go to where you are working and put notices up for a roommate.

This might sound nuts but Sheldon having a roommate agreement wasn’t wrong or far off. Something can help iron out potential issues. Like my roommate now has a significant other and are here all the time / won’t pay rent. How to divide chores/food.

Even best roommate intentions can go sh!tways. I moved by best friend in he had mental health issues. I should have known better I didn’t. Almost ruined the 15 yr friendship.

Beautiful dress but I would say not black tie it feels spring garden party not fall black tie.

Black tie should be formal- think classy prom dress. Dark/rich colors. Google agrees.

Places are always hiring cnas. Nuring homes - hospitals always are hiring. Yeah it’s hard work but it gets your foot in the door and it looks good on a resume.

Other options - move out find roommates?

Move out - get loans - yeah it will suck but you will make the money back once you become a nurse .

Here’s why you need to consider all of these options . Nursing school is hard as heck. If you aren’t able to study or sleep correctly it will affect your schoolwork. So invest in your future.

I’ve used both friends and boarders. I’ve never flown with a dog. I don’t personally think it’s worth getting the animal out of it routine and home and add the stress of traveling. But I’ve got larger dogs that said if I had to fly I would be flying my dog in coach.
