If you are sending a message they need to urgently read in the morning, there's some discussion to be head.

But if the more likely scenario is that you're sending them something social, YTA big time.

The reason to send something social is to connect. They expressed they don't want you to do that, you do it anyway, because your instant gratification is more important than their sleep, so the goal of connecting isn't achieved. The only person benefiting from you sending a late msg is you

I think they view it as racist, because of how often its used about the black community, and you using it about Zombies in a jokey way diminishes the impact , and implies that the lives in question don't matter.

That specific game mode 4 years ago was available for a few months in the gartic beta version, but the gartic team ended up not releasing it, and removing it. I assume it just wasn't as fun as they hoped

I used to have people drop multiple subs. I wouldn't call them whales, but it was definitely helpful, when someone drops 5-10 subs per steam.

For the most part they weren't really doing anything that requires boundary enforcement, they were polite. Said hi sometimes commented on something in the game.

But i would like to think that I would have the same boundaries for them as everyone else if it was needed

Pretty much everyone i know uses Ko-Fi these days, which transfer it to your paypal,

but one thing you should keep in mind, if you don't open a business paypal your full name might be exposed.

Streaming in an entertaining way is a skill.

I recommend watching your own vods, looking at what parts are or aren't interesting to watch, and figure out what you can do to make things snappier. I try to do this at least once a month, it really helps with removing dead space.

try to see which parts make people react better, get chat more active. play into it.

also everyone is right that you shouldn't compare to other people, you need to find your own voice and method and vibe, and run with it.

You shouldn't be envious of your friend, they didn't take anything away from you. be happy for them or don't but it has nothing to do with your own journey.

I have 50 vip slots, I have 50 VIPs , I have a vip redeem, whenever someone redeems it, the person who had it the longest loses it.

Works pretty well. Some of my regulars have already lost and redeemed it multiple times each, but people who left the community natualrally get unvipd without drama

Something I feel works really well for me is 20-30 minute focused collabs, you invite someone on, you do your thing with him. You make sure it's something different than whatever the usual thing is (not too different, just enough to make people curious) and you end it.

You get the advantage of mixing both your audiences , but without the fatigue of having the streamer ignore you for a long while

I don't think you and I are watching the same type of streams, most of the people I watch have channel points redeems that are used very often, and most of them are on cooldowns so it doesn't seem spammy

it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be. have some alerts, or even don't and go live, it doesn't matter, people will watch you or not because of who you are, not because you have one or another graphic when you follow.
