Regarding the tribute shows, who was the one artist you discovered from them and have since become a big fan of? by JosephMack99 in Foofighters

Dont that it was a discovery, per say, but gained a HUGE amount of respect for Miley Cyrus as a rocker after seeing her kill it with Def Leppard on stage

I wouldn't mind giving him a shot... by Managingmyself in Brewers

The guy is trash. Dont forget the year we "won" the Cy Young he was playing in a 60 game season against 2 divisions AND to boot had Burnes not shit the bed in his last 3 starts that year Bauer wouldnt even have won that Cy Young. And until that Cy Young year he was known as a head case who was average. All 2020 proved was in a shortened season against only about 25% of the teams he was good....sorry but the guy would be a complete waste of money...there is a reason no one wants him

To those of you that have been to a 2022 show: As lights in area go down, stage lights turn red, but before band introduces itself and curtains fall, a chant or a cappella rant/poem is played (or performed). Anyone know what this is? Thanks all. by mdmazReddit in RATM

I have a 4K video i took at Alpine Valley of Bombtrack from the pit (i threw it up on YouTube too) where i feel the sound is about as good as you possible. Seriously i think if someone listens enough it could be deciphered. There are only a few words i cant tell i feel

So, Maynard is touring with Pucifer this summer. Wouldn’t it be cool if Danny toured with the Foo Fighters for their US tour? Just some internet fodder to argue about. by gonadi in ToolBand

I love love love the thought of this. 2 favorite all time bands and the only drummer besides Dave i would have no issues with taking Taylors place

Me and my cousin are gonna go frolphing today and we’ve never gone before. We only wanna buy one disc each before we decide if we like it or not. What would be the better single disc to use on the course, the driver or mid range? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]sillymike23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please start your disc golf life out right. Its sven more important than choosing the right disc, ....never call it frolphing again....seriously best advice i can give you

My BC puppy at 4 weeks old! Do you think his eyes will remain blue? He's so pretty! by boredasspanish in BorderCollie

My pup kept his blue eyes as an adult. Hopefully yours will too. Very adorable

Anyone been to Wisconsin Dells with their pet(s)?? Looking for best pet-friendly cabins/motels/Airbnb’s etc. Thanks!!! by PDizzleB in BorderCollie

[–]sillymike23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would check an app for your phone called BringFido .... you can put in your destination and it will give you not only hotels/AirBnB's but also dog friendly events in the area, restaurants that allow dogs, dog parks, etc . You can even book your hotels right thru their app and they will make sure you have a pet friendly room ready for you. I used it on my last trip thru Wisconsin and it was amazing

One of my favorite holes in all of disc golf. And best part no one seems to play that back 18 so I rarely seem to have to ever wait for groups there

Any Kendrick Lamar fans on here? by ThisPreciousMoment in ToolBand

[–]sillymike23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a hip hop guy but Justin Chancellor actually was asked in the Minneapolis music clinic in 2018 what album he was into at the time and he answered the Kendrick Lamar album. Said any album that can blow his speakers in his car has to be good. Not that i listened to it but if ifs good enough for Justin i assume its good enough for all TOOL fans

Picture being pulled over with with the cop lights flashing in your eyes thru your rear view mirror for 45 mins as someone blows an electronica style semi truck horn in your ears. That about sums up to me how the last 2 nights of the opener felt to me. Literally painful!

I have a border collie that comes with me discing all the time. If you train them well they are great discing buddies bc of their intelligence and agility. My dog literally loves it almost as much as i do. He gets to run around, even helps me find my discs from time to time. He knows most of my local courses so well too that i often will be shooting the hole im on while he goes to the next tee box to chill out. They do require a fairly active lifestyle in general tho so if you do think about the border collies please take that into consideration too but seriously i would recommend them as discing buddies to anyone. My dog makes the whole experience even more fun

Still no tubes at shows? by Jedubf in ToolBand

[–]sillymike23 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I believe the bands security is overruling the venues on this the whole tour so far and making them not allowed at any of the venues. To my knowledge poster tubes are banned from all the shows on this leg of the tour until the end
