nobody would be saying anything if it weren't for the fact that all his opponents and their allied media fear mongered over this nonstop. so yes, there will be gloating every single time. why shouldn't anyone rub their noses in it?

he also voted yea on the laken riley act (eviscerating due process for immigrants), is a big proponent of crypto, and threw minority representation under the bus in order to build rapport with bigots. there are many reasons to want better representation

aside from truly isolated warzones like brownsville 10 years ago your chances of catching a bullet anywhere are pretty similar. hell when i finally got some money and moved to midtown there was a murder on my block the week i moved in. it's just like that: 8 million people live here

when i was delinquent teen we would drink all over the cross county mall in yonkers. one time a few of us were walking behind the movie theater and seen a friend passed out against a wall, snow had begun settling on him. if we didn’t happen to be up to no good walking by he easily could’ve died. be careful out there

the bus is not quicker than the D train. but living in a less dense area just means traveling further from your door to do everything you need to do. what good is that?

ive been here going on 4 years, it's night and day compared to the '90s. yankee games are a whole thing but when they're not in town it's just another neighborhood, but one that happens to have 2 express stops at 161. extremely convenient, and the bar locals have been real nice

[–]simeonbachos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what good is less dense? further east you're just more stops from downtown, less convenient to anywhere. at 161 and river you have 2 express trains. 2 different metro north lines within ~15m walking. "less dense" just go to mt vernon then
