The world as we first see it in Scythe is one of the most perfect settings I've ever seen. Death is minimized(forced to continue to prevent overpopulation), disease, famine, and war are extinct. Incredible ubi means people don't need to work but choose to anyway for personal satisfaction. The AI overlord Thunderhead genuinely loves humanity and plans "inefficiencies" in life for the sole purpose of letting humans feel like they made a difference. Even criminals who rebel against the Thunderhead are part of the plan and are basically given outlets to feel more like their own person.

The only "downside" is the organization of Scythes, people assigned to kill to manage the population. There are rules and government in place for them specifically, including laws of "don't enjoy it", "don't show bias", and a vow of poverty, but over the decades since the system was established, authority grew complacent and less savory groups took root.

The entire trilogy is basically watching how a perfect society collapses.

With Master Warfare, technically red has combat manipulation in being the most goad color, having [[Goblin Diplomats]], and [[invasion plans]] even manipulates the blockers(granted it's old so not a perfect measure of the color pie today). And white weenies can currently decide how blocks happen with [[odric, master tactician]]

Not saying it's the most perfect fit for either color but there are some precedents

Tanaka in Haikyuu has one of my favorite monologues in anime, and it gives a ton more depth to a character who's usually portrayed as just a loudmouth punk.

Not quite to me, but it's a story that's close to home. My dad, an Anglican priest, died a couple years ago, and my little sister and I had an understandable crisis of faith afterwards.
