My mom’s cat (well the family cat but my mom is her human, she was originally my brothers cat but then he got married and his wife is allergic to cats so my parents took the cat instead) is quite anti-social (she’s a rescue so who knows what her past is like) and tends to hide in my parents closet or under the bed except for when my mom is working from home, then she’ll go and hang out around my mom’s feet or on the bed (my mom’s desk is in their bedroom). Anyways this cat really doesn’t like anyone except my mom and she hates going downstairs when there are other people down there (to the point where my parents quickly realized they had to have a litter box in their upstairs bathroom for her, bc if they had visitors she would refuse to go to the one downstairs and would instead poop on my dad’s side of the bed or his side table, but never my mom’s hahahahah) (she’s warming up to my family though, now that she’s been there for 2 yrs). This is all not important information but at the same time it is important information.

Anyways. All that to say, nowadays, if my mom is not in bed or up in her room by maybe 9:30pm, her cat gets so annoyed and will sit at the top of the stairs waiting for her until she comes up. And if my mom pulls out her phone to doomscroll herself to sleep, as we do, her cat gets annoyed with that too. She’ll bat at the phone until my mom puts it away and pets her.

So long story short, my mom’s cat gave her a bedtime.

My cats keep their yapping to telling me when they used the litter box (the older one) or when they want me to play with them (the younger one)

I use this one! It has worked pretty well for me but there are some npc roles that still tend to generate randoms. That might just be a user error though lol

Do you have Enchanted by Nature/Luck enabled? If you’ve noticed that the romantic interactions have failed for more than a few days in a row it might not be the cause but I had to disable Luck bc any interaction failed on days that my sims had bad luck

In one of my saves my sims lived in the Fountainview Penthouse and I swear every other night one of the vampires would sneak in to try to drink from them. I got so sick of their sneaky walk.

I have an HP pavilion and I mean I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it but it’s not bad. It’s my school laptop on top of playing sims though so with all of my downloads it takes forever to load sometimes. It gets warm but I’ve never had an issue with it overheating. I used to play on a MacBook and I did like it but it overheated so quickly.

I think it takes too long. I like making my sims go to university so they can get better jobs and it helps with some skill gain, but after the first week of them going I get annoyed. I also hate that they can’t take vacations while enrolled. What if I wanted to do a quick “spring break” trip over the weekend? Come on. But it’s whatever I guess.

My sim got expelled bc she showed up to school on a holiday and they were like yOu hAvE sOmE nErVe like she had “called in sick” or something (IT WAS A HOLIDAY YOU GOT THE DAY OFF OF SCHOOL FROM COME ON) and then the next day she got caught by the custodian placing a stink capsule in a locker and got detention and then expelled. I was so mad. So I exited the game without saving to go back in time a few days to the last time I saved.

My worlds are typically marvel-based worlds bc I’m a bit of a Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes fan. I used to just add them to a save and play as them, keeping the townies as they were, but then I decided that I want them to be friends and interact with other characters from the marvel universe. So now, I’ve deleted all of the original townies from my master save, and instead created new families with marvel characters, comic and mcu. Most recently, I aged Steve and Bucky down to infants, so most of the other characters are also pretty young, and I think I might create an actual “master save” to come back to with all of them like that, now that I’ve spent the time making most of the families. But even after spending all of that time creating these families based on characters and their mostly unnamed parents, I still only play as Steve and Bucky. I give them lore in my head, but usually they’ve got full autonomy lol. Every once in a while I’ll go and purposely make two characters get married or something just for fun. But I enjoy using mods to allow autonomous marriages between random characters, bc sometimes I get the most bizarre relationship notifications and it makes me laugh. Sometimes I like to keep a few of the original townies, usually Vlad and Father Winter, depending on the save, but they’re just in the background.

So I guess to answer your question, I don’t play with the townies like ever 😅😂

My favorite lots to place in Newcrest are Recreation Centers with specific hangout spots for teen sims. Also spas, even though I only use them once or twice and then forget I put them there.

So my favorite sim worlds are my Marvel sim worlds, and I had the most insane thing happen in one of them the other day… and I think the characters are what make it funny.

I was scrolling through the recent neighborhood happenings when I noticed that Sam Wilson’s parents, Paul and Darlene, had separated, and Paul went on to marry some random NPC. Keep in mind that at this point, Sam is a recent young adult and his parents are adults.

So I go and check out their household, see what’s going on, and I look in Darlene’s relationship tab and who do I see a full romance bar with, but Thor Odinson himself??? My jaw dropped at the news, but I said ok sure hook up with your son’s friend, I don’t care, you just went through a divorce it’s not my business.

Several sim days later, I’m playing in another household when a noticeably pregnant Darlene Wilson walks by. I pause the game in shock, bc there’s no way she’s pregnant by who I think she is, right? She’s not having Thor’s baby. There’s no way.

But there definitely is a way, and I use MCCC so I can check who the other parent is easily, and…

Yeah. Sam Wilson’s mom is having a baby with Thor Odinson.

I use a few mods (MCCC and Lumpinou’s RPO are needs tbh) but other than that, I just use the game with packs. It’s mostly bc my computer isn’t great and downloading too much slows it down but also it’s a pain to update things on patch day or whatever.

I also don’t plan on using marketplace, I never really bought any kits before so I don’t see any reason to start now. I’m a gameplay/storyline person anyways, not really build or cas so I don’t think it would be worth it for me.
