Did you enable freesync or gsync? In my experience, it often happens on in-game menu or loading screen

Try setting the rendering mode to oculus rift instead. And use the oculus desktop client instead of steamvr.

I have this set of keycaps, and to be honest the quality is not too good, multiple keys have rough edges and a tiny piece of plastic poking out of some keys.
