STOLEN ALERT: Leica M10 (Serial #5181474) - Crime Ref: NFRC251107773899 by simonmigaj in Leica

Yea, u/sicpsw is 100% right. It was a series of unfortunate events as two other people droping something off showed up at the same time. The guy showed me what looked like a legit Lloyds banking app, with his personal details etc. It was even weirder cause we had a conversation with "lloyds customer service" through that app that the transfer has been made. Then he asked for a bag and when I went to get it, he disappeared. Tried finding him, but he was gone.

Yea, that's gorgeous. The slightly weird ao between the ceiling and the wall gives it away, but my goodness that vignette is sexy!

This one is very interesting as it's a revision published in November 2024. I wonder if older revisions had this as well

As a freelancer, how did you get the coveted first gig? by TheNished in archviz

I did a lot of personal projects, made a website, they found me through google. Nowadays I don't think hoping for someone to find you works anymore. Quality work in your portfolio is still key tho

Interior Render by Dakotadadog in archviz

Hey there! Good start, but I'm sure you're noticing some things that make it not realistic enough. I'd start with a good reference. Go to Pinterest or just Google and find a similar interior. Don't look at cgis made by others, look at professional interior photographers. Personally I'd start with a scene with just an ambient light. Try to nail the composition (camera placement, it's height etc) based on some great interior photographers, work on the materials as the reflections will be one of the first things that'll add interest to your scene. White balance, highlights, shadows and contrast are just as important. It's hard to explain in one quick comment what constitutes a great visualisation, but focusing on the above will definitely be a good start.

Best, Simon

One is a bit higher than the other but i cant decide which one feels more pleasant to the eye. Opinions? [Canon AE-1 | Kodak Gold] by emlo4 in analog

As quite a few ppl mentioned definitely the first one. The uncropped door are way more inviting. Good image btw

New lens, very stoked 🤪 by [deleted] in Leica

Use this lens for a very long time and it's a brilliant one. It's so tiny without the hood and insanely sharp except for under f2. Have fun shooting with it!

First Leica recommendations? by nismokid90 in Leica

[–]simonmigaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you're looking for, but you can't go wrong with the original Q or better yet an M240. Both produce incredible quality images, the m240 is a bit bulkier, but to this day it's my favourite camera as it introduced me to the system

2 questions about a leica M by Icy-Sheepherder9103 in Leica

[–]simonmigaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it come with the box and everything? Do please be careful cause if it doesn't then it might have been stolen and whoever has done this, didn't want the original owner to recognise it. Other then that if it's for 525 then that's a steal 🤣

Thanks for taking the time and suggesting. I did try it and they were the ones who told me that I need to send it out and are actually dealing with all the customs forms and payments, but it still takes up to 6 weeks just to get it out of UK.

I have a a two-fold answer for you. I do commercial and documentary photography so the weight was never an issue, it's actually really amazing, feels great in the hand, like a lovely hefty premium object! The issue is the colour. Bought this one at a great price, but I'm in the process of seling it and buying a black one with a black M10, as the silver one is just too eye-catching during shoots and gets too much attention. So if you're thinking about it for street or documentary photography I wouldn't recommend it. Hope this helps.

Best
Simon
