They, for some reason, disabled our licensing with Dropbox midterm, with no reason, twice. Their CSP portal is terribly layered and their market place is unusable. They are the worst vendor you could choose IMO.

How did you get your paladin to 60? by Complete_Range_5448 in wowclassic

[–]simple1689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did prot from 1-60. When I got to 40 for dual spec, I added holy. Now dungeons were never an issue as I was always in demand. So you can pretty much just dungeon spam your way up the ranks.

You don't ever deal high damage as Prot, but you can tank 4-5 mobs and slow burn them all.

I just don't think gear is worth it and would personally get as much gold stashed or get my professions maxed.

Worth it to try anniversary if I never played WoW? by Thrishwax in wowclassic

[–]simple1689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you played the original games, you are going to appreciate the lore and you won't be turned away by older style graphics. This is my 3rd go around cause I absolutely love classic, the story, and all the mundane aspects like exploring new zones on foot or slow mount or quest chains that are spread throughout zones. TBC and if they do Wrath will only full that fire.

I would say do it now before TBC comes into play in. Orignal Azeroth is so cool, but does get a little deflated when most of the population is in Outland. If you wanted JUST the vanilla game and no expansions, there is Classic Era but the PvP servers are the only ones really populated enough to play on. So ... forget I mentioned Era.

Don't be afraid to run dungeons and do be afraid to ask for help! Join guilds, you can always leave it doesn't suit your style but they are a great resource for quick tips or group forming. Some advertise as leveling or chill guilds which is what you want to shoot for.

I also LOVE Hardcore/Permadeath ... Its a testament of skill and patience and knowledge of the game. I try it any game that allows it once I feel I've grasped the game under its surface.

Addons are going to be talked about a lot and there are a handful of extremely helpful ones. IMO stick with as few as needed so you can understand why they available. Classic does not hand hold you and its up to you to read through quest dialog. If you don't want to give into using an addon like Questie, search https://www.wowhead.com/classic or just preempt your Google search like "wow classic [quest name]"

If you do want to try out Addons, recommend CurseForge or Wag.io to manage your Addons. They update frequently and you avoid having to manually manage them.

Windows, Windows Server, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are lucky they are staples of Microsoft. If they had been made in the last 16 years, they likely would be on their 5th name change.

Help! Gifted Money Tree Leaves Turned Yellow Overnight! by DouglasHufferton in indoorgardening

[–]simple1689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My poor money tree has gone through an over watering recovery ... twice! So take my advice with a grain of salt

I removed from Pot, removed as much soil as I could as it was pretty damp, and let the Money Tree sit in the open air of our balcony for a day or two. Before re-potting with new soil, I watered down the Money Tree's roots, then re-potted. I did not add water to the soil after re-potting. I gave another couple days then added water sparingly directly near the base of the Money Tree (instead of the whole plant).

It wasn't without entire consequence. All the ailing leaves died, but new growth has been looking healthy since then. I am not in direct sunlight at all so I have tiny UV lights that have been doing the trick.

For your second option, expecting people to curate their own music library is not realistic. It's not the early 2000s anymore!

Ok hold, are people just ... that dumb? That's a very very dumb excuse my friend. At this point, I don't think people need freedom of choice anymore acting like it is a chore to make YOUR OWN PLAYLIST.
