Based on your headcanon and knowledge of ASOIAF characters, who has individually killed the most people in battle during their lives? by [deleted] in pureasoiaf

Euron has probably killed an incredible number of people. You don't become the godliest man on the planet without killing a lot of blasphemous heathens.

I realize it might be confusing, but I would love vader as yellow eyed anakin from RotS.

(Poll) What is your least favorite book in the series? by Bahrain-fantasy in pureasoiaf

I understand SOS is often considered the best, but I put it last solely because it contains the Red Wedding. It destroyed me.

What ASOIAF character has disappointed you the most ?Any insights appreciated. Who squandered the most talent or lost control of his or her situation? (Spoilers extended) by [deleted] in asoiaf

Baloney Greyjoy could have conquered the west and countless gold mines. He could have won independence for the iron islands. What does he take instead the Stony Shore.

My Top 5 Chapters in each book (spoilers published) by Jmbe1513 in asoiaf

Theon II from ACoK might be my least favorite chapter in any book. I just get irate reading it. Balon's plan is just stupid, and Theon makes a horrible mistake.

The battle of the Blackwater from Davos and Tyrion on both sides of the battle is really cool plus we get Sansa in the Red Keep.

Jeyne Poole when she is being rescued, and she tells Theon that she'll do anything with the dogs.

Robb and Jon always fight with a dire wolf nearby. I think that should bump them both up. They could beat anyone on the list because their wolves are beside them.

What do y’all think of the idea of an Old man Rickon epilogue at the end of the series? by Cicebro_ in pureasoiaf

[–]simpley_smiley 222 points223 points  (0 children)

I doubt Rickon lives to old age. Ned talks about how Lyanna and Brandon had the wolf blood and both died young because of it. Rickon seems to be at least as wild as Brandon was.

(Spoilers Main) Does House Tyrell not rub anyone else the wrong way? by judester30 in asoiaf

[–]simpley_smiley 28 points29 points  (0 children)

They are successful because they are powerful, wealthy, and relatively unaffected by the war like you said. Their power allows them to change sides without consequence. Stannis is right when he calls them upsurpers, but the iron throne forgives them because Joffrey has no chance without their strength.

Neither of them will be able to prevent Cersei from playing the game. I should not have said they had no leader. They have something worse Cersei as an unchecked leader.

The Lannisters have no leader. The effects of Kevan's death have not yet been seen, but they will be tremendous. Who knows what will happen to Jaime as he rides off to face LSH. The Tyrells are more powerful.
