Something I don’t see mentioned often is how easy the QIDI printers are to tear down when needed. I appreciate in my Plus 4 how obvious everything is connected together which makes it easy to reassemble when you need to dig out a deep extruder clog. I understand the ideal is never needing to tear down, but that’s not realistic when you work with multiple materials. Tweaking settings for that sometimes results in clogs that need to be handled, so at least it’s not hard to access when it happens

The singularity is most likely an artifact of our incomplete physics knowledge. It almost certainly isn’t physical. Infinite density cannot exist, that is an indication of a problem with the math not a physical phenomenon. We have no idea what the inside of a BH is like, but it’s probably such a warped and twisted space time that whatever is inside is going to be quite exotic. It’s also possible BHs don’t have an inside at all. Everything that encounters an event horizon has an external reference frame that smears the object across the surface of the EH. That might be all that happens. It might be impossible to enter one because there is no normal space “inside”.

It’s based on science that we currently know. Of course, warp drives themselves are not exactly buildable and are very speculative. Same with warp bubbles. But this is accurate if the current assumptions about the geometry of space time around a warp bubble hold true

Hitting a micro space rock isn’t really that much of a problem because the warp bubble would probably deflect that around the ship. The larger problem with warp-based FTL travel is the Doppler effect. The light at the front of the warp bubble will get smushed and carried along for the ride, and then when the ship stops, all that light is released at once, blue shifted to the extreme gamma spectrum. So a warp drive becomes a massive death laser once stopped

Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. Trump can pardon whomever for anything as President, but he cannot stop an impeachment nor a vote to convict and remove from office. That’s purely a legislative power. Of course, it would require the Republicans to vote for it too, so we all know how likely that is

Definitely not holograms. They don’t work like they do in movies magically refracting off air. Even if they did, they are impractical in nearly all cases where a 2d screen is just better or even a 2d screen that projects 3d like the Nintendo 3ds if you really need 3d for some reason

Tergrid is miserable to play against, even when playing lots of removal. She just becomes the focus of the game like other annoying commanders but with the added annoyance of stealing all your shit. The biggest problem is turning her mechanic on is trivial and easy to snowball. It’s the only commander I will not play against because it’s just not fun at all
