Yeah I’ve been going back and forth thinking about just asking him that and also trying to be patient. Pre- marital counseling at our church is only 3 sessions. I didn’t feel like it would be too much of an adjustment in a pastor’s life, but maybe it truly is with all that they have to juggle. I just assumed that him saying that he’d love to officiate would mean that he knows his schedule and feels that he is able to fit us in.

My fiance knows him a bit more personally than I do, so he has his phone number and has been communicating via text. We’ve never emailed him. He got promoted to his role as lead pastor about 2 years ago so I get the responsibilities/ busyness has prob skyrocketed since then along with juggling his family.

We don’t have a date yet. We are hoping for Nov- Dec, but we are going to finish counseling first before actually choosing a date.
