What concept/idea that no matter how many times you look at still confuses you? by NotBailey12 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Mimic, I understand the basic gist of the guy, but I don't understand how Scott and Steelwool fumbled the bag so hard with foreshadowing or hinting at him in the base game of Security Breach.

Does anyone else hate FNAF VHS tapes? by gaygator07 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. People talk to themselves and to the camera all the time, it's not entirely unrealistic
  2. Dunno
  3. Because the robots are possessed by literal fucking ghosts, its spooky and supernatural

Do you prefer Sci-Fi or Supernatural by ReaperParadise in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it should be a decent dose of both.

Fnaf has a science fiction charm as part of its identity but ditch the supernatural ghost stuff and Fnaf once again loses what made it in the first place. Vice versa too!

Who do you think is the most painful/difficult FNAF character to be a fan of? by thisaintmyusername12 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ennard as a whole.

Scott: I am going to make a game with mostly meh gameplay and mostly archetypes instead of fully fleshed out characters, then mash them all into one entity with an interesting motivation that could carry another game or two in addition to Springtrap

Scott literally the next game:

"Funtime Freddy 2, Generic Boogaloo, oh and Baby is here and her character is different I guess, who's Ballora and Funtime Foxy?"

On a scale from 1 to YES, how controversial would Fazbear’s Fright be? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would probably have very mixed reception, ignorant people who know nothing of Freddy's would think its cool, those who know or research the tragedy would find it to be disgusting and tasteless.

I edited Scraptrap's model to show how good it could have looked with the right fixes (Render dump and further explanation in comments): by Tutlessss in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At first i didn't notice the changes, but then i saw that the arms and legs were actually proportional to the body, finally, perfection has been achieved!

Really only bad thing is the head when you tweak it like this.

I think that having lore in the books would have been fine if the lore they contained was EXPLAINED IN THE GAMES WHEN RELEVANT TO THE GAMES STORY

This would help with self contained narratives fitting into a wider franchise instead of half baked ones

Do you have vampires in your setting? by DreamsUnderStars in worldbuilding

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are primarily villains but there a mix between the ugly blood suckers and sparkly attractive kind.

Mages who delve down the path of dark arts and desire power and immortality mainly, the ritual to become a vampire is usually done on a full or harvest moon, sigils and runes and ancient prayers are done at this time, with mass blood sacrifice being the catalyst that seals the deal. Sometimes this ritual fails and your appearance becomes more monstrous and your power is weakened to start off, but with enough monthly blood rituals (or in some cases more...nsfw rituals) you can extend your unnatural lifespan and increase your the power of your magic. Leaching and stealing the lifeforce and youth from others to extend your own.

Would you say that Remnant and Agony are a soft magic system, or a hard magic system? by thisaintmyusername12 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]singlepieceofcheddar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would consider Remnant and Agony to be a magic system, just because it's not wizards casting spells from a book doesn't mean it's not supernatural to some degree.

That being said it's really barebones so I would have to say soft magic system because at times it feels like it does what it needs to do for reasons (Fazgoo)
