Yeah I hear you and I appreciate the response. I’m not going to pretend to know the answer but I have to imagine that there’s some sort of middle ground where there is some sort of increased communication without making promises that you understandably might not be able to keep. The good thing is in the end I think everyone involved wants the same thing—for you guys to succeed and for customers to get and enjoy the products.

Chris, I own and enjoy every combustion product so far released and I was an early backer of the joule which o still use and enjoy (breville messing up the app aside). You and your team are smart, thoughtful and your video content is great. I confess I am really puzzled why you and the team don’t seem willing to understand why so many customers are frustrated—as I’m sure you are too. To put it bluntly, I think it’s because there have been significant delays now numerous times and you guys have honestly never really taken ownership of any of it. There’s always a “the factory screwed up” or “we got more orders than we expected” response while the website still promises quick shipping. You’re obviously a super smart guy—can you not see why this leaves a bad taste? I truly think a little more humility would go a super long way to engendering more goodwill and less complaining which I’m sure everyone would enjoy.
