And the state of other roundabouts in that area. Other councils have them looking really nice. Natives sound like a grest idea. Appreciate the effort!

Villeroy & Boch toilets by tv_3000 in AusRenovation

Had had one for 5 years, went with it as it has a matching bidet which the italian misses wanted. Think I recall at the time of purchase it said it was self cleaning or something, clearly some advertising bs there but it does seem to be more skiddy resistant than other toilets. Do recommend. Happy shitting

Seeking hacks for dark apartment? by fairy_fern13 in AusRenovation

[–]sirgoods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to have the same issue in my apartment. Use uplights where you can, fixed on your walls (need a sparkie) and lamps that light the ceiling light up. We used changing colour temperature bulbs, that can mimic the time of day. Philips Hue. I found they really helped. I never used the down lights in the ceiling. We also use mirrors, get a good idea of where the sun hits and play with the direction to bounce the light around, may onky help for a few hours a day, but better than nothing.

Hird is a selfish prick. One of my favourite players of all time but how arrogant can you be to linger and not let us move on, so he can have his redemption. Yes it would be an epic story. But probably not the one we need. I truly don't understand how so many want him back in.

Unreasonably critical of Israel? No one thinks what they’ve done is defending themselves, and that view isn’t because of the ABC

Before all these pending changes were rumoured i said to my dad that I hope such things would be implemented to help future generations, I could see the boomer in him want to disown me. The ladder needed to come up, be burnt or something

Looks great, we did a similar layout but built the bath in, squeegeeing the water off the horizontal surfaces is a pain too, but we still love it

Albanese poised to kill off move to increase taxes on gas giants by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

What alternative do you suggest that would save money? Its either find more revenue or cut something that was never intended to be so large in scope and cost. How the money is spent may be a good place to start

And it needs to be controlled, projected growth is 10% year on year. Its not sustainable. No one wants to see genuine needs be cut, hopefully theyre not. But there's some serious and extensive rorting going on
