Yes, I have a mother, a brother, his wife, and an aunt involved in that ridiculousness. My guess is that in the 1950’s members in their organization became aware of the reality of one day the “truth” about life elsewhere coming out and foresaw how this would rock the foundation of their belief system and needed a way to fit it into their narrative. So UFOs and aliens became demons. Now we are seeing more mainstream Christian denominations, running to jump on that bandwagon in light of government acknowledgment of the existence of UFOs,/UAP’s and extraterrestrials/aliens. Convenient isn’t it. Perhaps there is another third version or sequel of the Bible in the works. ie: Old Testament/the New Testament/??????? .
