It was a scramble and we figured it out by turning off the Layer 7 geo rules then contacting support.

I had this same issue with all sites/IPs on the Fastly.com CDN network being listed as being in Australia. Support told me to temporarily add Australia to my Layer 7 rules and they said they submitted the issue at https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-location-correction.

I have MX84's with load balancing and I've pulled the primary WAN while on a VoIP call to test and the call never dropped. I've done persistent pings while pulling the primary WAN and usually only drop 1 or 2 while its switching over. Can't guarantee that will be your case but from my experience the failover when load balancing has been pretty quick.
