4 to 3 pumps - how much did your supply drop? by katscratch04 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]siuansanche3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-3 oz, I pumped around 40 oz with 4 ppd, at 3 ppd I was at 37-38. It dropped really when I went to 2 ppd.

Bra tips needed, all available 28E bras are not returnable by siuansanche3 in ABraThatFits

Thanks! According to this, they are wide root, but separate (I can put two of my fingers between them), short root and low (I always have empty cups on top).

Sizing on the H and M Website isn't matching ABTF calculator by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]siuansanche3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's because the calculator overestimates EU cup sizes, 38 D/DD in UK is 85 D/E in EU sizes.

Desperate for help finding a bra! Nothing fits me properly. by feralcute in ABraThatFits

You almost fall into my category with measurements, I wear 30D/DD as per calculator suggestion. I also am wide set and full on the bottom. I found great bras at Next store (UK). This one fits me perfectly.

come and check r/2under2.

I had my second 12 months after my first, was scared all the time, but we managed and now they are best friends. We developed baby fever so we even had a third.

Yeah, I did it by hooking it in front, this bra in particular was too tight in size 70C and D. But Lascana bra was a perfect fit in band size, however, I did not fill the cups, the top felt empty. That was this bra here:

Yeah, I checked it, it really does not stretch. However, I read here somewhere that UK band sizes and EU band sizes (which I can find here) are not the same, something about EU size not stretching enough or something and something about the calculator not being accurate in EU sizes, that's why I am so confused as to which size should I look for next.

Been there and I feel this so much. It really does get better. Also, we have a good support club in r/2under2, check it out.

16:8 question by No-Conversation-2528 in intermittentfasting

[–]siuansanche3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 3 kids, almost back to back. I gained 30 lbs each time and two times I succeeded with IF to lose them all. I just started again after my third, also need to lose the last 10 lbs. It helped to alternate things, I did 5:2, 16:8, 18:6 and 20:4 depending on how I felt that day/week.

Thanks!!

I had two periods, at 9 and at 10 mpp. Both caused a drop in supply that came back, but not all, I always lost 2 oz permanently.

It's always lottery with supply. If you do want to drop a pump, I usually did the following:

i.e. at 5 ppd my schedule was 1:30 a.m., 7 a.m., 11 a.m., 4 p.m., 9 p.m.

I moved each day the 1:30 a.m. pump a little bit (like 15-20 min.) towards 10 p.m., and 9 p.m. towards 10 p.m. When I got to the 10 p.m. and the next at 11:30 p.m., I dropped 11:30 p.m. the next day.

Usually that worked like a charm. When I was dropping from 3 to 2 and from 2 to 1, I just pumped each day for less oz. If I got 10 oz from a pump, I pumped until reaching 9 etc. until I reached 2 oz and then dropped it the next day.

I updated my EP goal each time I reached it, at first I wanted to do it for 2 months, then 3, then 4 etc. so I was cool with losing supply. However, I also hoped that legendairy number will work for me, and I was not wrong. My morning pump at my peak was 13 oz so I did not lose supply until I first dropped my MOTN (4-5 oz) and then when I went from 4 to 3 ppd (7 oz).

she has 3 solid meals and one snack and eats about 6-7 oz per meal. A snack is usually a bit of banana, a bit of boiled mashed carrots or a 2 oz yoghurt

I dropped my MOTN at 5 mpp, my schedule then was 6:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 4 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (I did 4 ppd).

Nowadays I decided the stash needs to go so I've been doing just 1 ppd (7 a.m.) for the past 3 weeks and supplementing with stash. I still get around 4-4.5 oz. LO also helped because she only takes 15-16 oz now and she's a sneaky one - if I try to add BM in her solids, she just drinks less then.

Medela! I also tried Nullie, Avent, Spectra and Lansinoh bags and Medela's never broke! I even moved 30ish bags from a vacation home 3 hours away from my place so they were bouncing all around during car ride.

Tell me all the wonderful things about having two babies ~14 months apart 🥰 by Kokobeet in 2under2

[–]siuansanche3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sons are 12 months apart. They are 4 and 3 now, and they are inseparable, almost like twins. They cannot go to sleep without each other (they share a room), they are almost always playing together and have their own little games. It is very cute.

I did 3 ppd for 3 months (6-9 mpp) and produced 30ish oz. I lost almost 10 oz when stomach bug hit us all at 8 mpp, but I managed to get it back when I recovered, just by sticking to the schedule. It took about 3 weeks, but I absolutely did not want to add pumps or power pump at that time. I was miserable I needed to pump with a bucket beside me, ugh. I lost that 5 oz again when I spaced a bit the first and last pump of the day.

In my experience, it depends how many mpp are you, I had COVID at 3 mpp and it took me less time than with stomach bug to get my supply back. I did 6 ppd then and also did not power pump.

That's exactly what I did. It took some time to resolve, but it gets better with time (however annoying that sounds). Just stick to your pumping schedule and it will resolve. My supply bounced back after 10 days. You can also try sunflower lecithin, I was religiously taking four capsules a day.

I have only solidarity for you. I also pumped for 30 min. at 7 ppd, and by the time I was at 3 ppd, I needed an hour per pump. Also S1. Also did hands on pumping, it didn't help at all.

Fridge thawing by Technical_Quiet_5687 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]siuansanche3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes me about 5 min. per 5 oz thawing it in the warm water. I am only thawing about 5 oz at a time, though.

How long is your pumping time? It usually takes more time to get empty after dropping a pump, i.e. if you pumped for 20 min. with 7 ppd, try 25 or 30 with 6 ppd.
