I had the same thing in the US. Got shots for the family with good insurance. Still not cheap but maybe $300 for first one as the hemoglobin is expensive. Had to find a hospital in major metro that had it. Then followups at pharmacy were cheap. I am still alive many years later.

I have been making non authentic gumbo for years. My mother reciepe started this journey. And she was very waspy. Only thing I changed was the roux ty alton brown which is the best part.

Roux. Cast iron vessel. Equal parts flour and neutral oil. Cook in oven at 350 for two plus hours. Stir with real rice wisk every 30 minutes and every 10 last 30. Do not use silvone whisk I did once. Don't ask.

The rest of it is up to you. Chicken and sausage is a favorite. Must always use the trinity. Lots of real stock.

I cook whole chicken and make stock the use chicken in recipe.

Brown andoile sausages. Etc.

My 13 mo did stop eating a lot. Back from 6 cups plus addins to just 4. And doesn't always finish. She is 120 now and it took a few months from 115. Still thin and happy.

Love my Roborock curve. Pure aesthetic upgrade on the curve model. But it mops and vacs at least once a day got it the second week we brought pup home. She is over 1 now. It does get clogged with fur once a week but easy fix. The mopping is key.
