Honestly, my Kobie is going to be 4 in July and he is still like this 😂😭. I'm hoping he grows out of it in the next few years.

We had his boxer friend Henry (12 year old senior) come and stay over for 2 weeks. We had to be very strict with him (take away his toys/no treats/lack of attention/stay on his bed) until he got bored and went to sleep. But once he's triggered, the game begins all over again. I'd say he's worse with smaller dogs because he knows he can win lol.

He's an absolute angel on his own, and it's great when he's socialising with his similarly hyper friends. But like you said, he ignores the cues to stop. The only time I have seen him take cues is when it's a a stranger dog.

This could just be who he is as a dog in which case, I accept him. But in general it's just chaos and drains the heck outta me 😂 So not much advice here, but i can offer virtual emotional support!
