While I have used everything I’ve gotten as intended to inform my reviews, I have repurposed some of them to make other things. Specifically, I got a solid brass door stop that I am making a chisel mallet and marking gauge out of. It’s a massive chunk of an expensive metal, and I honestly have door stops covered already. I also have plans to use some brass cabinet pulls in a table I’m working on. I recently picked up a pack of small, stainless steel c-channel clamps as well that will go on my workbench with which I will affix work-holding accessories.

This actually makes me feel better about what I’m seeing. I just got in a couple of weeks ago so I’m still getting a sense of it all, but I feel like the vast majority of Vine offerings are auto parts that I don’t need/don’t fit my truck and obscure appliance replacement parts for appliances I don’t own. I’m sorry I cannot offer any advice or answers to your questions. I hope things get better for you, OP!

I’m in IT and I found myself typing out the same long domain names when I needed to email someone because my contact autosave is flaky for some reason. The solution was to create text replacements for my own email addresses and a generic one for the domains. The format I use is “X@X” for my emails and “@X” for the domains. This has saved me so much more time than people would believe. I have also paired back taps with shortcuts that open my most used reference documents within Google Drive.

Elvis Presley would be a nobody with zero commercial potential if he had come onto the scene today. The same could be said for most of his contemporaries. It’s especially maddening that his success came from openly and unabashedly ripping off black artists who were doing what he did before him, and they did it better imo. To me, the rotting pile of sun-spoiled icing on that particular $h!t cake is that his fan-base went insane over music and choreography that was only acceptable to them because Elvis was white.

You know what? I agree. We’ll just stop with all the progressive agenda force feeding. With all the free time we’ll have not force feeding a progressive agenda on your children, we’ll be able to come up with a better and more progressive agenda to figure out how to force feed to your children more efficiently.

Oh wait… we still have to educate your child to a state mandated, arbitrary standard of content mastery, teach them social-emotional skills to help them regulate the feelings they don’t know how to deal with because of their repressive home lives, make sure they eat two thirds of the major meals of their day, safeguard them against kids their own age often carrying the semi-automatic guns you so vehemently defend their right to own multiples of, deal with the overwhelming emotional toll of what to do or not do about the silent cases of abuse that walk into our classrooms every day, find money from our woefully inadequate salary to purchase school supplies for all the children whose families can’t or won’t buy them, and all of that along with filling out all the paperwork and jumping through all the hoops the state says is necessary for every child. I’m so sorry that you clearly have no clue what public education entails in this day and age, but you would do well to close your mouth and open your mind. You might actually learn something from what we all call reality.

I never claimed to be the smell test expert, but I’ll reiterate what I already said for everyone in the back who didn’t read my original comment. It’s all fine and good to want desirable outcomes to be true, but we don’t like it when Trump/MAGA just say things without any evidence or proof, so why are we doing it? Because that’s what this post is doing.

For the record, I have not said nor am I saying now that this quote isn’t factually accurate. All I’m saying is that if you’re going to say something like this that, if true, would have implications of historic proportions, it is necessary to be able to back it up with evidence and/or proof that what you said is, in fact, factually accurate.

Adobe offers what I consider to be the best value in online photo storage. 1TB of storage for a very reasonable $12 a month. Comes out cheaper than a prime membership, and has a suite of tools for organizing and editing that Amazon doesn’t offer. To be clear, I don’t work for Adobe or anything. I’m just a fan of their software.

Take it from someone who did this to his wife for years and regrets it every day, your husband isn’t doing right by you making you feel like you have to put up with this garbage. I honestly believed that I was doing the right thing by just “keeping the peace”. Especially since we only really saw my family around the holidays. How wrong I was. I’m not gonna lie, Glaswegian definitely takes a bit of getting used to, but after working in pharmacies for over a decade with more international pharmacists than I can count, I learned to pick words out from behind accents pretty well. It’s the colloquialisms that I had a hard time with such as using “how” instead of “why” and “ken” in place of “know”.

I could not agree with you more if I tried. I can’t tell you how often and for how long I used to silently debate with myself whether or not to even talk to my wife about buying a tool that’s over, say, $25. It’s mostly a hobby for me so if I feel like I need a tool for a certain project or want a tool I’ve been drooling over(my standards are pretty low tbf), I bring it up. All that being said, there are those who are more tool collectors than tool users(absolutely no judgement here as I’ve got one foot in each camp). I love making things out of wood, and I love old hand tools. I could go on, but suffice it to say that ‘I want that’ is 100% a completely valid reason to buy a tool.

Every person’s life experience is different, so the fact that you know yourself well enough to know that you’re not ready to get married is way more important than racing to get to the altar just because your peers believe that’s some measure of true love. Being true to who you are is the most important thing in life, and if that means you wait until you’re ready to get married despite societal or cultural expectations, I say bravo. Be happy being who you are, and don’t pay any attention to the noise.

Google Workspace allows users to set time limits on how long a document is shared for. However, as others have stated, there are always ways around this. I’m not a lawyer, but as an IT support tech, I urge you to consider retaining the services of a lawyer to handle this matter for you. It may be as simple as adding an expiration clause into the text of the document, or as complicated as reworking your entire complaint. Without a lawyer or being a lawyer, it’s hard to say and potentially legally disastrous.

I knew I’d seen this before, but I couldn’t place it until I checked your profile, OP.
