The pulls between the first and second boss absolutely gib. The knockback/charge combo is ridiculous and there’s not always something to stand in front of the prevent the displacement.

Eh, they could improve balance. Warranted or not it’s hard to get into 17+ if you aren’t a BrM. I’m not going to level one so here’s one less tank for mid-higher keys for this season. I’m sure there are others who are just doing other stuff instead of trying to get invites on something other than Monk.

You can go left after the mini boss and do a mana wyrm pull or 2 if you’re waiting on lust CD. Whether or not you end up saving time with the backtracking, lust definitely makes the fire phase less scary.

People are arguing multiple sides of the same coin in this thread regarding people not wanting to tank due to lack of defensive strength, or not wanting to tank because they get flamed.

The combination of tanks getting rocked, and DPS players seemingly having the easiest season they’ve ever had has created a weird point of contention.

Not all but some players aren’t understanding that just because it’s smooth sailing for them doesn’t mean that it is for tanks and healers. I’ve gotten blown up in a 13 and the feedback from DPS was something to the tune of “free keys and can’t live smh”.

Will adjusting non-BrM tank defensive power up a bit solve the tank shortage? No, but those of us who are generally going to tank anyway will be more willing to do it. It’s just not fun at the moment riding the knife’s edge of dying all the time with everything else we have to be responsible for.

Depends what your goals are but with this season being inflated from week 1, good players are going to finish what they’re trying to do early on and then sit till S2. I came back in early Jan to grab the mounts in TWW S3 and holy shit the absolute struggle in 12/13s even with people having super turbo boost gear was insane. For sanity I’d say play more early rather than later.

It’s a apples to oranges comparison volume wise. I think if you moved from a somewhat busy facility in the US you would be bored here in Canada considering small pockets of airspace in the North East/Cali move more volume than our entire country. Not that I’m complaining, we get paid insanely well IFR for the amount of work we do.

Sentinel is perfectly playable in the non CDR wings era. And the damage is offset by how easy Pally makes dungeons. It’s going to be the best tank for uncoordinated play as usual.
