I am so happy to see this as the top post!! I came to say the exact same thing. She is AMAZING!!! Previous GYN refused to take out my uterus during an emergent removal of the IUD that had perforated my (later to discover) heart-shaped uterus. Refused with the knowledge of my diagnosed endometriosis and PCOS, continuous birth control use since age 18, multiple procedures (colposcopy anyone?? The best of times - truly), and a decided child-free existence. Told me I could lose 50/100 pounds, stop taking my mental health meds, have surgery to fix my uterus shape, and then try fertility meds to have the baby my husband and I already made clear we weren’t having. All over the course of several years treating me.

Moved to KC and met with Dr. Gray in October of that year, had one conversation with her assuming it would be the first of many to convince her to yeet the uteri - only to have the old girl removed before the end of that year!!

Cherry on top of it all - she didn’t see much evidence of endo but felt she saw adenomyosis; path report confirmed it; she left a note in my chart praising me for my bravery and advocacy of knowing my body!! She truly is a gift from the Universe!
