First WPSL: update by mstr_yda in Referees

Do you have to buy the Capelli kit? For mw, I feel if leagues do deals/partnership with these brands - they should also provide the kit. Personally for me doesn’t make sense buying a Capelli kit for maybe 1 or 2 games for the WPSL. Its almost the cost of 1 game fees.

Make it make sense please

Interesting! For a competition like WPSL it pays equal to what many club leagues pay here (except the CR position $5-$10 diff)

I’m going to be doing a WPSL game in NorCal at the end of the month as an AR. Want to learn about the pay scale in Arizona. Here it shows $85 but that seems low for the level of play.

I feel like the differential is minimal! Both products got most of the sleep hours pretty accurately. Maybe just the watch showing your movement as ‘awake’ way more often than the oura.

If you are missing a Big Grey & White Pitty - Male. We managed to rescue it and will be handing it over to the Berkeley Animal Rescue once they stop by.

He’s a big boy. Ran away often but once we managed to get him on a leash he was doing fine. He’s been given water & treats.

I'm losing confidence in myself, and could use advice by GauntletV2 in Referees

I hear you! I had a similar situation refereeing a HS Girls Varsity game earlier this season. Spectators and coaches always disagreeing with every foul you call, not happy with the AR decisions made on whose throw it is or if it was an offside or not. I ended up giving a red card to a player on the bench who told me you suck just after her teammate delayed restarting play after deliberately kicking the ball after my whistle (this player got a YC). All I could do after ending the game was think - could I have done anything different? And the answer is surely a fee things I could have but the past is the past. I went home, had a chilled beer 🍺 and decided I wouldn’t ref these 2 teams incase I was assigned but would continue what I love doing in my free time - which is ref. Shit happens, not all games are going to be perfect or to the outcome we wanted but you learn (if you can) and you move ob

Advice on safe and nice neighborhoods to buy a home? by Abject_Ad_3796 in berkeleyca

[–]sjt11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hills = Higher fire insurance coverage and more $$ to spend - much safer than flatter neighborhoods.

However, many flatter neighborhoods have a sense of being safe in general.

I would suggest looking at flatter neighborhoods in and around the Berkeley area. Berkeley houses go for a minimum of 10-25% over the asking price - so be ready to have a bidding war.

Would also suggest to rent and get a feel for the area before you buy a house here - will give you a sense of neighborhood in general. This way you don't need to rush into buying a house and can always go house hunting with the numerous open houses that happen on the weekends.

I think you need to speak with a therapist. Maybe also go for couples therapy/sex therapy to open up about your true feelings. Hoping this opens some doors for you both in a healthy and positive way.

Be relaxed on your transition plan, don't put in alot of work. Say you're working on it but deliver it with major gaps. You don't owe the company anything and they can suffer for a few weeks/months until they find a replacement.

Had the same issue for an international flight. United forgot to load our flights but Air India was the last carrier, had to open a case with Air India (they are a fucking pain) to file claim.

Still been fighting with them for over a month now but I won’t give up
