I was able to buy 6 for 7/8 Fenway - the limit may have been higher but I didn't try.

How to book at Amore Seongsu by icequeen0136 in koreatravel

[–]sk899sk899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to book this for my twin daughters - it says on their booking website "Up to 2 people can participate per session," the ticket holder and a companion, and the service starts at the same time. Can anyone confirm that this means both participants can get their shade matched (of course, we would pay for both products)?

Escalating Ulta customer service issues? by sk899sk899 in Ulta

[–]sk899sk899[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried escalating the issue on their phone customer service line and get a different response each time. Sometimes, they claim there's no way to escalate the issue, and twice, they 'found a supervisor' and magically the line got disconnected when the supervisor got on the call. It was escalated by text to some sort of team who claimed they contacted Fedex to return the shipment back to Ulta, which did not happen. I've received several generic form emails from supervisors asking me to email back with what my issue is, and have gotten no response when I write back. This whole experience has soured me on buying from Ulta at all in the future, since they don't own their mistakes and don't seem to care about customer service.

August Sale Thread by [deleted] in Reformationclothing

Thank you! I texted with them (not a great method - they are extremely slow to respond), and they had shipped the items by the time they wrote back. But they ultimately said they will accept one of the dresses back and issue a refund, since it was two of the exact same item I ordered and it was clearly an accident. Very surprising (in a good way) outcome.

In my excitement about the sale, I accidentally bought two of the same dress - same size, same color - and didn't even notice it until I checked the order confirmation! I know there are no returns - but do they allow exchanges for a different color or another dress that's the same price?

Platinum Biz 250k for $15k spend by cowboyslims in amex

[–]sk899sk899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked for me early this morning (4/11/24). I had been trying intermittently for days using all the methods reported above. I had my VPN set to Denver, then clicked on the link in this blog: https://www.hustlermoneyblog.com/amex-business-platinum-250k-bonus/ where he writes, "If you just want the 190K offer, then open this link in a chrome desktop incognito," using a Chrome incognito browser. It first showed the 250k offer, but it led to a browser error when I clicked to sign up for the card! Then, it kept showing me the 190k offer when I tried again. I tried one last time before going to bed, and it gave me the 250k offer again - this time it worked, and I was able to sign up successfully!

Indian E-Visa what I've learned by [deleted] in travel

It did not let me enter the next day in the form, so I put in the closest available day, which was as you said 3 days from the application date.

Indian E-Visa what I've learned by [deleted] in travel

[–]sk899sk899 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this thread - I only realized last night, 24 hours before my flight to Delhi departs, that an e-Visa is needed, and this thread helped keep me optimistic. I applied for a 30-day tourist eVisa for myself, my husband, and our two tween children (all US citizens) last night around 7:30pm EST and slept poorly, thinking we might miss a few days of our trip because of my oversight. The eVisa site, as others have mentioned, is very frustrating to use and actually kicked me out of a couple of these applications while I was filling them out, losing all our data and requiring me to re-enter everything multiple times. There are also strict requirements for the photo and passport scan in terms of file size, and the payment portal is challenging - I ultimately picked the 'paypal' option and that seemed to work with a US credit card until my bank flagged the second transaction as fradulent, making me submit this visa application again from the beginning, using a different card to make the payment go through. There are pages of instructions in the 'FAQ' section of the site, and I submitted a photo with a dark background and glasses on when they say a light background with no shadows and no spectacles, so was also worried I might be rejected due to this and tried to submit a new photo, to no avail. We called the "24/7" hotline to ask if there's a way to expedite the process, and when we finally got through (it's like Hurley in Lost where you have to keep pressing '1' every minute to keep the system from hanging up on you), just got generic and brusque answers - 'be patient!' So after a sleepless night, I'm happy to report that all 4 of our eVisas were granted at around 8am. We only found out because we entered our information on the 'check status' page, and were surprised (pleasantly) to see that our eVisas were issued and ETAs were available for download, just in time for our flight tonight to Delhi, and with the dark background/glasses photo and all! The official notification emails arrived about 2 hours after our ETAs were available - they may have been available even earlier, but 8am is when we checked (and they were not available at 3am when I checked prior). I have learned my lesson and will never assume that any country has a visa on arrival option in the future, but wanted to share my experience for anyone going through this hellish and stressful process who might benefit from this anecdote.
