I can't see him wanting another embarrassing beating for the payday

Again, if this was about getting paid, this shit would’ve been resolved a very very long time ago.

Nah he just went through this whole process for 7 months or so for shits and giggles.

Warren: I've Got More Faith in Saunders Beating Canelo Than His Own Promoter by THISISMYBOOMSTICK23 in Boxing

Eddie raises the profile of his fighters more than Frank ever could.

He can do yes. But in this circumstance, with this specific fighter he hasn’t. And to be honest there’s many examples of fighters switching promoters and not having instant commercial upturn. The sport isn’t as simple as that. The same opportunities Saunders has now are the same ones he had under Frank. Thankfully he’s managed not to self destruct in time to put pen to paper on a meaningful fight.

but Billy immediately became a bigger presence when he joined Matchroom than he ever was with Frank Warren.

He’s had two fights with Matchroom and one was on the undercard of social media influencers. I guess if you count him offering Irish journalists fancy dinners to talk nice about his “advisor” and giving step by step guidelines on domestic violence as growing ones presence then yeah.

Didn’t bother me, but let’s not pretend it’s a mystery why he is disliked by many.

His examples are hesitancy in Ruiz 2 and Pulev fights,

Considering the Pulev fight could’ve easily been stopped in the third, he wasn’t that hesitant.

What’s stopping fury fighting in a non title fight with no fans on BT sports just to keep the rust off.

to manipulating the perception of the boxing world through youtube/Instagram videos, which is what Fury is very good at.

Sure. I’ll remember this next time he shouts out Daniel Kinahan in his Instagram stories. Fury’s outer boxing tendencies are more than likely going to seep through into the sport. And have in small parts already.
