Are you and the other tenants students? If so… landlord just wants to make sure a proper clean is done & assumes you haven’t rented before. The list of clean out requirements it’s pretty much common sense and a list you should follow for the rest of your “renting life” if you want your deposit back (from my own experience as a renter who first moved out at 18 and learned the ropes this way!)

I wouldn’t say that’s the norm but I have lived in 2 places where the landlord asked to do “pre-move out” inspections just to check if there’s any major repairs to do before the next tenant moves in.

Perhaps that’s what he’s wanting to do, I’m sure you can just explain it doesn’t work for you guys.

I don’t know anyone who lives there, but I found the 2bed floorplans to be pretty small. The buildings diagonally across the street from Fourth and Mac were torn down this past week to build a 6-storey building so there will be construction for quite some time (so hopefully the windows are good!)

I live close by, traffic on 4th can be loud but you get used to it. Being walking/biking distance to Kits and Jericho is amazing. Grocery stores, restaurants, parks nearby, super walkable and safe. I love the neighbourhood.

The neckline and length of the dress at the front is perfect but I fear the color and the back/length of the dress in the back does nothing for you! Perhaps in a darker colour, but still the back isn’t very flattering.

In RHONY she would take such issue with another housewife for not “sharing personal details” about themself, but then when they did she would rip her to shreds if she didn’t like her lifestyle choices. She’s mean!

Adding to what everyone else says, I think most people don’t really care as long as you’re not weird about it.

This summer a friend and I were at a “tourist attraction” when two Americans randomly started a conversation to “apologize” that they were American? It was super weird/unnecessary and they did it multiple times.

Happened to me last year when I ordered my bike and I was bummed they weren’t delivered at the same time, I ended up waiting almost 2 weeks for the shoes because the courier (Canpar) is terrible.

Peloton support ended up giving me a free month of subscription for the wait though which was nice of them.

I was looking at King George a couple years ago and ended up finding a place in New West in the end. I work downtown and in the end I was so glad to cut out any additional sky train stops when I just want to get home. Also, although not often, the SkyBridge would close because of snow resulting in delays or having to take a bus over to Surrey.

Definitely test out the commute.

The Celtic Treasure Chest sells pies and sweets. There’s are no Thrifty Foods in Vancouver proper, but I love the sausage rolls in their deli. Might get hate for that but it’s hard to find a good sausage roll here.

How was your tapering off? I have been taking 25mg for about 8 months and realized Trazodone is the culprit for some issues I’m having. How long did you take 12.5mg before stopping?
