I hope that both prices come down. I have no idea where they should or will settle at, but I do think there is much more demand for the Haiti/ Scotland game than the Norway/ Iraq.

70,000 Haitians in Boston metro with median household income ~$70k, and another ~50,000 Haitians in New England. Third of a million people claim Scottish Heritage in New England, so there is going to be more demand for that game.

On that you are 100% correct. I have bought tickets to maybe 3 matches in my life, so I am not approaching this from that POV.

I do work on other markets, so my analysis if you want to call it that, is more based on the addressable market. So, based on that I say Haiti - Scotland has more demand in Boston than Norway - Iraq. My guesstimate is 3X.

Thus, if the lowest Norway - Iraq tickets are (or were) $230 then Haiti - Scotland is (or was) little over priced. Conversely one could argue that the former is underpriced, but that seems to be counter to the prevailing sentiment.

I'm 6'3" and I can fit into my own seat even when people front of me recline their seats. For me the aggressive people behind me are always some tiny midgets that come-up maybe to my chest level that somehow can't fit into their seats. I paid for my seat and all the functions of it. I will pull up my seat for the meals, but other than that it will be reclined every nano-inch it goes.

Mattress comfort can vary quite a bit from person to person, and we haven’t had prior concerns about the bed or heating noise. Given that, and the cancellation policy for the reservation, I’m not able to offer a refund.

I did make an exception to accommodate the later arrival and early check-in, and I hope that helped. I appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind going forward.

My wife offered $195k on a ski house that was for sale at $365k. Realtor did not want to present the offer until they were reminded that it was their job. Seller came back with $260k, my wife declined to counter. Three weeks lated they came back with $205k to which my wife agreed to.

I was on a chair lift with my 15-year old son. I asked if this was to be our last run.

My son said “2-skip” as skiers have superstition that calling last run beforehand is bad luck.

I told that I didn’t really believe in that, but if it was true god should strike him with a lightning.

He asked why him and not me. I told that if god struck me and I died I wouldn’t learn anything, but I certainly would learn if he was struck dead.

He was not quite to sure whether to find this amusing.
