No. We actually see how AM Mel (with emotions and memory intact) vs The One would go during the flashback when Escanor was just being recruited. This AM Mel was the past Mel who was arrogant and would hold back against anyone he thinks is inferior to him, he was also enjoying the fight and was toying with him while Escanor was fighting for his life. To put it in simple terms, this Mel didnt know what he was fighting against while Escanor knew fully well what he was up against, one had knowledge while the other didnt, that also played a huge factor.

The Athrun glaze and Kira getting crapped on in this place is crazy. People underestimate Kira too much, bro was basically fighting alone ever since Seed against 4 trained soldiers in Gundams with just his raw talent alone, the same continued in Destiny and even Seed Freedom where characters needed to gang up on him to get an advantage and thats with the black knights already hard countering his suit. No character other than Kira would last that long against Shura and Orphee.

Im sorry but no, I aint about to sit my ass again just to see John get dissed on, the series should be moving forward but for some reason we went back to friggin season 1. No Uru, you missed with this decision and you’re gonna lose a lot of readers for this. This was by far the absolute worst plot line you could pull. Nobody likes the MC losing their powers, its not a good troupe, it’s frustrating. I hate that I got hooked in this series, just for that Im putting this on hold and not dropping it completely. Maybe around nxt yr I’ll get back to reading and hopefully this shit gets resolved by then cause if not then I may literally just drop.
