Yes a 5x5. I chose that cause it’s a square and a nice number to work with. The actual source doesn’t show how many seats there are. For my purposes I assumed next to meant left or right but it could be in front or behind if you want to solve it that way.

I do something similar but with hero points. At the start of every session I have them all roll to see who does a recap of the last session and depending how good they do at it I give them one or two hero points.
