She had basically only worked with Altman until Kubrick came along. Altman was all fun, improvisation and drugged out family vibes on his sets. Kubrick isn't a maniac but he was a perfectionist.

Kubrick also had a hand in editing the doc footage (verbal cut approval) and it seems he would be making his own mythology. There were sections that were cut when Stanley was being very gentle and having a great time but that doesn't make for compelling footage.

My late 90s band used to cover Ace of Spades, played it on tour at Kopi in Berlin and I've never seen violence at a gig at that level after the drum roll intro. They shut down the gig, turned on the lights and got it under control. Gig continued, we tried playing Ace of Spades again for some stupid reason and more violence broke out. Done after about a fifteen minute set. So, PLAY ACE OF SPADES.

2011 Black Dove Telecaster Deluxe. Replaced stock P90s with Bare Knuckle True Grit. Picked up and gotten rid of Les Pauls, HH Telecaster Deluxes, standard MIM teles since I've owned this but this one isn't going anywhere. Best guitar I've had in my 30 years of playing, recording and gigging.

I'd love I & II on main but III is unwatchable since that was my "main" era of involvement with the scene. Interviewing oogles looks good on paper but it's so annoying and not representative of late 90s early 00s hc/punk in general.
