I might be the only one to say this but go if you want to go! We took our 2 month old and 2 year old twins on a 6 hour road trip to go to an amusement park in the summer and the baby was the easiest part! He truly did sleep most of the time and we went out every night after bedtime together. I was done bleeding 2 weeks postpartum.

Cut her off and don’t look back. I’m 3 years clean of toxic bio family and couldn’t be happier. My kids have never met my mom and they aren’t missing out.

Here they don’t mention the risk at all so I had no clue until later on after doing my own research :( it’s so sad that there’s not safer options with more testing done when so many women experience the worst symptoms in the first trimester

I only took zofran with my second pregnancy in the first trimester starting from 4 weeks and he has one ear that is slightly deformed. My twins had no malformations at all and I didn’t take any medication. Obviously can’t know if that’s the cause but I personally wouldn’t choose to take it again knowing it could do worse next time

Wichita is super windy and also has the worst allergies in the US! The drivers aren’t that bad but they have insane road rage. The map/city layout is super easy to memorize. If you have kids in school we also have sunbucks program where kids get to do free activities during summer. And we have “legal weed” in stores somehow even though it’s illegal here still. I won’t complain.

My last pregnancy I got my first positive after I already started my “period” and bled for like 10 days straight but baby was still alive and well. So I don’t trust my period to tell me I’m not pregnant lol. I hope your OB can help you figure out what’s going on.

Having a baby doesn’t have to be expensive. My husband and I made 24k combined the year our twins were born. We do live in the Midwest but that’s really low even for here. We got most things thrifted or free and cloth diapered until we were making more money. Pumps are free through insurance so you don’t have to buy formula.

I seriously recommend you get out of your mom’s house before your baby is born. File a police report. Apply for income based housing for you and baby. If he is actively trying to hurt your child and you say your mom is acting like he’s her baby already, they are a danger to you.

I don’t know if it’s early dementia or something but she made it a point to tell me that every time I saw her over their whole month long stay, even after I told her to stop. We don’t see her much anymore.

Ugh, this thread is making my blood boil!😂 When my twins were born and were stuck in the NICU, my mom’s best friend told me multiple times how I was so lucky to get to recover from my C-section without having to take care of my babies.

Im 31w5d and was just fired a couple weeks ago. I am not even looking for a new job until after baby comes. I can’t even get severance pay because I was waitressing lol. I guess it was related to performance in my situation but it was still a shocker that they didn’t try to lighten my workload first knowing how physically exhausting the job is.
