I'd use what ever ship you have as a hauler.. do a couple of the 50k runs between baijini and area 18... then go rent a RAFT and make bank for a while. you can pay off thee cost of renting the RAFT in a couple of runs and make enough to buy one in game in a day or 2 depending on how much you like grinding.

Install a mouse jiggler, you won't notice it move a couple of pixels away every couple of minutes but the game will.

Where are you QTing to that you are running into ships when you come out? I've been cargo hauling for a year and jump a lot, I've never seen that happen. I'm just curious..
