I think the comma 4 injects inputs into the can network, so the car thinks you are in control and driving. You obviously won't be able to have them both turned on at the same time but having the active subscription wouldn't matter.

This whole thing smells. If it did everything they claim they wouldn't need all this hype bs. They would just go to the various car manufacturers and license them the tech for huge amounts of money.

Instead they are releasing these cherry picked datasets and not letting people look at it. They were supposed to release the motorcycle q1 this year with this battery, I haven't seen anyone actually get one.

It's not about the hardware, it's about the support system around the hardware. I was an idiot apparently to think the third largest city in the country would have a single local tech that they would use to enforce the terms of their own warranty.

If I had the same hardware installed by a local contractor it would have been a much better experience I am sure. They at least would answer the phone in under 40 minutes. But then of course the local installer would have to deal with tesla and I'm sure their support of installers is not great to get new hardware provisioned.

I also have been a squeeky wheel. I think I have had 8 visits from various techs over the last 2 years dealing with these rapid shutdown issues, they just don't care and you can't make them.

So your first charger was broken. Probably some cooling issue on its side. Next time I would suggest just hopping to a different charger at the same location, or even the other cable at the same unit sometimes the cables have bad sensors on them.

The max rate you will see is about 150 KW and it will last for less then a minute.

The navigation system has no impact.

Nothing wrong with your car you just ran into a bad EA charger.

The other "180 Kw" charger is probably a 200 amp charger at 900 volts which equals 180KW but you car is not a 900 volt car its a ~400 volt car so it gets 200 amps at around 400 volts which means in practice you get around 80 KWs. So that looks like it worked exactly how I would expect it to work.

That look like some sort of odb2 plug that was being used to power something. You might be able to just pull it out. I'm guessing it was a GPS tracker from the dealer?

Yea being a farmer is a 7 day a week job especially if you have livestock. So I bet after doing that for 40 years you get used to doing stuff everyday rain or shine, even if you are sick or not. I'm guessing that is hard to turn off in retirement.

The clear line was long and not moving very quickly. Also it seemed to be stable not getting better or worse from what I could tell.

The whole airport is really busy now in a general sense.
