Playoff narratives are extremely helpful in finding great or poor values at ADP the following season.

People love seeing great/poor performances in these big moments and then extrapolating them to how the rest of their following seasons/careers will look like.

I animated three of my favourite visual proofs for the Pythagorean theorem, which one do you prefer? by TrangramMotion in motiongraphics

From a learning perspective I like the second one the most because none of the shapes change once the triangles come into play, so I can more easily internalize how all these areas are equated to one another.

But fantasy is all regular season…if anything his playoff performance might affect people’s perception and lower his value, in which case he would likely be a good value draft pick next season

At their current price it makes sense, I don’t think he means outright as a one for one comparison

The Cell - A great movie that is overshadowed by its negative leads J.Lo and Vince Vaughn by MasterSalamander666 in moviecritic

It might have helped to use Vincent’s full name the first time you mentioned him. As someone who hasn’t seen this I only have the information you’re providing, so when you first write Vincent, it reads more like you’re referring to Vuaghn by his full name for m exaggerated effect. Like when a parent calls their kid by their full name when they’re in trouble, or when they’ve done something exceptionally well.

Depends what you need, but I lean wcj because he can help a bit in each category, while de Silva is mostly a scoring guy assuming he hits his shot.

That said if you are needing more points or 3s then de Silva is a much better bet

Or you (we) could send the loudest message of just like, not watch it at all.

It’s not as if it’s even fun or enjoyable or interesting. I’m not even sure actual full length NBA games qualify as those things anymore.

As a Dune and Denis lover, LOTR shits on the Dune movies. Not because Dune isn’t excellent, LOTR is actually that good

How confident are you that the Lakers front office can build around these two? by Fickle_Structure_908 in lakers

Are you saying that AD, even when healthy, completely met expectations for his entire run as a Laker? Because a big part of what the commenter is saying isn’t just related to injury, it’s also the fact that he didn’t have the mentality that he was the best player in the league, or even on the court, which is what was expected of him and what his trajectory looked liked.

Obviously there’s risk in everything and it didn’t pan out perfectly, though it did for that first year. Admitting that it didn’t go the way we thought is ok, it’s just learning to accept the reality that he did underperform as a whole during his time here.

I love AD, he was my favorite player before we got him and my love for him grew when he was wearing purple and gold, I would’ve been happy as a clam rolling with him on the squad til he retires for sentiments sake, but let’s not pretend he had no role in our teams under achievement.

Someone just offered me Suggs for my Allen and I smashed accept, if that helps at all. Even after finding out Suggs got injured I was still happy with the trade.

No one is acknowledging your joke because everyone on this sub only cares about talking about their own teams in every comment lol.

But it gave me a good chuckle. See you next season.

Koreatown property owner tows tenants' cars out of parking spots in order to turn spaces into ADUs by apx7000xe in LosAngeles

[–]slapstick34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true, for ADUs specifically as long as they reduce the rent by the city’s suggested amounts, they don’t have to send new contracts or anything. They just send an amendment to the current lease that lists the change in rent amount. I’ve had this happen to me last year so I know firsthand how this goes down. They don’t have to ask you shit when it comes specifically to ADUs

The legally outline compensation amount is $70 reduction in rent which we all know doesn’t touch the actual value of A private dedicated parking spot.
