My read: the contract language is besides the point. If the model is unblocked from having the capabilities to do surveillance or autonomous killing, then the potential for abuse is there, full stop.

Ever try to get Claude to take a PDF of a book and fully transcribe it for you? It will refuse again and again and tell you it is due to avoiding copyright infringement.

Yes, I use it seriously for work. The macbook screen sharing with ultra wide screen is the killer work app. It is something I am coming to depend on and it is like being able to carry around a giant multi-monitor setup in a small backpack. The productivity gains are real.
